Getting it after Aegis is therefore a wrong choice - you'll want to rush Shurelya's Reverie after HoG. Also, Frozen Heart is imo a better choice than Randuins. You'll want to buy HoG, but sell it late game. Both Randuins and Frozen heart are good, since they offer a great amount of help to the team, but since Frozen gives you CDr and mana, I believe it's a bit better choice (perma slow cus constant Q, and great passive - since the AD carry/offtank won't attack you in fights, the passive on FH can be better than Randuins). Can't agree more about the Shurelya, so i fixed the guide for that.. But i do believe that Omen > Frozen for Skarner.. But like i said in the guide, if you want to play with FH instead of Omen, do it. After starting to play skarner like this it became so much more easy and fun, thank you very much for that. Got just two questions: 1)What do you think about replacing Aegis of Legion for a Guardian Angel? I didn't manage to complete a build on him yet, but as it gives more armor and magic resist than Aegis, (despite you would have 270 less health) Randuin's Omen's active would get boosted increasing the slow's duration. Plus its passive would make the enemy not want to target you or regret if they do so. Your team mates wouldn't benifit from Aegis' aura too, but well, your support can allways get one. 2) What about starting with boots and 3 health pots? Skarner is pretty much able to gank at lvl 2 and boots would improve his ganking power imo. You could also calculate which top or bot is the more "gankable" lane and start with red even. (Tried this out today and worked really good, getting the first blood) I'd love to know your opinion about this. It can work. I haven't tried GA on Skarner because i don't really die much with him. And enemies aren't "supposed" to target you since Skarner is a tank. But if your team needs it more than Aegis, get it :) 2) What about starting with boots and 3 health pots? It works, but Regrowth Pendant gives Skarner a faster core-item (Shurelya's) and he's still pretty fast. But if you wanna do crazy-fast counter jungling, it's great. Getting your blue then go straight for their read for example, while the enemy jungler is probably most of the times still killing wolves, then recall. I must try that definitly.
