Hello everyone. This is my second guide that i have made here. First was brand and i took it off. Well anyhow, Skarner.. Skarnerr... Hmmm well he is one fun champion to play with. He has speed, life steal, and a kinda CC that slows. At the start of a match to me this champ is kinda weak.. After u reach lvl 6 you start to see what I mean by fun. I think of Skarner as a bully. You come in get some life steal and slow them down and then with your Ultimate you pull the squishy's out or you pull the one that does the most damage out. Hey if you dont want to be the bully I also play him as a champ that comes in the backdoor and wrecks everything up.
My red I use Armor Pentration for the reason to get those squishy scared of a big skorpion running around.
My blue I use Magic resistance because i feel like he needs all the defence early game.
My yellow I use Armor. Like is said before the more defence the better I can sustain my lane.
Big 3, I put 2 Armor Pentration and 1 MR. As you can see I'm rolling heavy with the Defence. I've played him a couple of games and tried diffeerent runes.. These really made a difference and showed a big impact on the field. You want to be able to be a little tanky and able to stay as long as you can in your lane to get money and XP.
I know he is an ap champ.. Ive seen those stats on his abilities. Q does physical damage and then magic.. The reason i put 21 in offence is because of his passive. Your goin to be auto attacking to get your abilities up fast anyhow might as well make those auto attacks count. 9 in utility to help with the mana regen and health regen.. Also to get money quick.
First up is Meki Pendant and 2 health potions.. You want this to help you with your Mana Regen and also to help you lead to Tear of Goddess. After your farmed enough and hopefully got first blood or a kills you want to make your way back to base to buy Tear and regular boots and some 2 wards.
After you work your way up with money you should save enough of that gold to get your Manumane and mercury threads. Now with these item try not to focus on your money, try to stay in your lane as long as possible. If you still have enough to buy 1 ward do it.. Its always good to have vision where you cant. They say the alligater you can see is less dangerous than the one you can't for a reason.
Okay you should be having fun now. And it should be late-mid to late game now. This is where its going to get ridiculous.. Buy that trinity force and Nashors tooth.. After this you will notice that your abilities will come back fast.. Especially your ultimate because of your passive.
Now the game should be over by now if it isnt buy Warmong just to seal the deal and end it up with gunblade for that life steal, damage, and AP.
I pick E up first do to the heal you get back from it then Q at lvl 2 to help with your E because your Q will hit everyone to get back health. Then lvl 3 is W for the armor and speed boost.
I max out Q because it does double damage, physical and ap. Then after your Q I push my E and W back and forth.
UPGRADE YOUR ULTIMATE ALWAYS.
