Skill-Spam Master Irelia

Timing. Irelia is all about the timing of her skills and the knowing of how much damage her fellow laner will be supplying to the field. The Utilization of herwill make your gameplay more effective as it has an auto refresh if the skill is used as the final blow to a minion or player. This can be effective for Fast Farming as you can low minions health down to a 1/3 hp bar then spam the BladeSurge over and over to get all the gold you need.

The use of when you are positive that your hp is lower then that or your target will prove as a GREAT way to turn the tides of a 1v1 or a team fight. The stun effect that occurs when this is the case will be greatly rewarding.

Runes

Much like all of my "Skintimidation" builds I tend to use the same runes with a few alterations here and there. The main focus is to give that boost to the Crits that causes the intimidation factor. I tend to altar the Glyphs (which can be Magic Resist glyphs if you wish).

Items

Getting the cooldown as close as possible to the max of 40% is what i aimed for first in the build, using both Ionian Boots of Ludicity and Frozen Heart bringing the cooldown reduction to 35% and allowing faster usage of Bladesurge which tends to throw the most damage. Next you focus on increasing your damage output after getting the cooldown and the Madred's Razors Upgraded by buying a BF Sword ----> IE (Infinity Edge). Then so you don't get written off fast in team fights (which you will probably be partaking in at this point) you stack more armor with the Sunfire Cape which has its passive AoE (Area of Effect) that inflicts 40 magic damage per second on nearby enemies. This is helpful for when you Dive in with Bladesurge and are in close quarters with many enemies that target you. Lastly, there just addition Damage + with the Black Cleaver causing you to cancel out the increase in the enemies armor at this point.

Unique Skill Selection!

Most players tend to go for the Bladesurge first when starting, I find this to be an error. The Hiten Style both supplies a "Vampiric Sythe"-type of leeching life and also a Passive to Irelia that gives her leeching abilities with just basic attacks. This is a key to early game fights and reccommend Hiten as first selected. After that its mainly focused on unlocking everything to level 1 and then all gung-ho on Bladesurge as it proves to land the most power and kills with the supplied build. At lvl 5 Bladesurge you will be able to utilize the attack every 2.5ish Seconds (without landing kill, which gives auto-refresh).

The Transcendent Blades Allow for a great clean up as they have range that can take out the runners or those that are hiding behind turret for a Recall.
