Hey Guys, welcome to my Miss Fortune guide. This is sLx.Dryst, I have been playing League of Legends since season 1 and I am currently ranked as Diamond V in my main account in LOL-PH.
I started playing Miss Fortune ever since LOL released her. But I only mained her during season 5 ever since armor penetration metas became a thing in all LOL servers.
This build will focus on granting her abilities and auto's pure damage with the help of Armor Penetration. That's right she's a mean gal with two guns and nasty penetration capabilities.
Pros / Cons
- High Movement Speed - good at kiting enemy champs
- High AOE Damage - good in team fights and has one of the highest damage output in game. (with a good setter and proper positioning, she is a beast)
- Overall game play does not require you to go near enemy champs.
- Early to late game bully
- Squishy to the point of being dead if enemy champs get near you.
- Mana Burner - all of her abilities costs too much mana
- Inability to move when using her Ultimate
- Directional Ultimate makes it easy for enemy champs to dodge.
My Masteries for Miss Fortune is unique. Alot of Players might probably disagree with this setup but I will explain why I chose such Masteries.
Sorcery - Gives additional 2% damage on abilities. I chose Sorcery over Fury because not only can Strut make up for the 4% additional aspd, Sorcery's additional 2% damage on abilities works well with my build due to the fact that I am stacking on armor penetration making this additional 2% damage on abilities worth it.
Double Edged Sword - Dealing 3% additional damage is a good thing but people think receiving additional 1.5% damage with a squishy champ makes it a downside. But I would say, main scenario when playing Miss fortune is that you don't go upfront so the threat of additional 1.5% damage received by double edge sword is irrelevant.
Vampirism - 2% Life Steal and Spell Vamp grants additional sustainability since Miss Fortune does autos and ability poking.
Bounty Hunter - Since Miss Fortune's Ult is AOE most of the time you will be able to secure a kill per clash. Making it easy to stack the additional 5% increased damage because you have a high chance to kill each one of your opponent team's champions.
Battering Blows - with a starting 7% armor penetration and additional 45% from Lord Dominiks and flat Armor Penetration items, Even Garen would think twice before charging at your ult.
Deathfire Touch - Miss Fortune has 3 damaging abilities namely "Double Up", "Make it Rain" and "Bullet Time". With my build AD could go upto 360-400ad, with Deathfire Touch' effect of granting additional damage on top of your ability damage by 8+ 60% ad + 25% ability. you can say that every time you hit champ's with an ability an additional 224-240 damage burns enemy champs due to Deathfire Touch.
Savagery - Makes it easier for you to kill minions.
Assassin - Grants you additional 2% damage on 1v1 situation. With Assassin you have no fear of initiating 1v1 with enemy AD carry. With MF's passive damage items and assassin even without much aspd you can kill their carry with 2-3 auto's plus 1 double up.
Merciless - Makes it easy to kill champs with below 40% hp. If your ult can't kill them obviously their below 40% and Merciless will do the job to secure your kill.
Dangerous Game - Since MF has high rate of killing enemy champions. Dangerous Game adds up to your sustainability in team fights.
Youmuu's Ghostblade - My build lacks attack speed from masteries, items and runes. With Youmuu's active that grants 40% attack speed and 20% move speed for 6 seconds, nuff said this is a decent compensation for the deficit. Another thing about Youmuu's is that this item grants 20 armor penetration which works well with your auto hits and all of your attack damage abilities.
Duskblade of Draktharr - Duskblade of Draktharr Grants 75 AD, 5% Movement Speed and 10 Armor Penetration and with it's unique passive Nightfall, every time your in a team fight it grants you an additional chance to secure a kill.
Maw of Malmortius - Maw of Malmortius is gonna act as a defensive mechanism for ap burst like leblanc, etc.. With Lifeline and Lifegrip it grants you more sustainability in team fights. Not only does it grant sustainability to Miss Fortune, the additional 10 Armor Penetration and 55 attack damage this item grants will make even armor stackers think twice before catching your abilities and auto hits.
Death's Dance - main point of incorporating Death's Dance in my build is because of it's 2 unique Passive's. Converting 15% damage into bleeding effect and 15% heal every time you deal physical damage on opponents will add up to your sustainability in team fights. I know some would ask, "why not buy Bloodthirster?"; Death's Dance is way better than Bloodthirster for Miss Fortune because of the fact that she has 3 damaging abilities packed with her explosive auto hits. Death's Dance's heal works with her damaging abilities as well making death's dance contribute more heal's compared to Bloodthirster's lifesteal which only relies on auto hits. Another thing to point out is death's dance gives 10% cd redux which is needed for my build which relies on abilities.
Lord Dominik's Regards - Lord Dominik's Regards will give an additional 45% armor penetration and with the passive Giant Slayer's up to an additional 15% damage for champions with higher health than Miss Fortune. This will help MF kill Tanky Champions with ease.
Berserker's Greaves - The additional 35% Attack Speed granted by Berserker's Greaves will help this build compensate for lack of Attack Speed modifiers.
My build focuses on Armor Penetration since Miss Fortune's Double Up and Bullet Time are Physical Damage dependent, this build helps MF's abilities reach it's maximum potential.
