Threats to Yasuo with this build
|Gnar||Gnar is the perfect opponent for Yasuo: if not mega, gnar has very little to do against Yasuo's movility and high DPS.|
Hello! This is a guide where you can learn how to make the best out of Yasuo.
Note that Yasuo is a very complex champion and he is not always the best in the meta, he can get quite useless sometimes (well, most of the time).
With this guide I hope you can understand the different ways you can build him and do better as him in your games.
To be honest, Yasuo's lane phase is either pretty dominant or very sh*tty. As Yasuo, it is crucial to understand when to trade, when to freeze and when to splitpush.
Champs like Vladimir and Volibear, who are capable of outtrade Yasuo in the early game, are the ones you should respect the most. Yasuo tends to push lanes relatively easy with his tornado or E+Q combo, so he is vulnerable to ganks pretty often.
However, against champs like Gnar, who are uncapable of outtrading the DPS of Yasuo in the early game, Yasuo can just stomp the lane. Always try to punish mistakes and never lose your lead if you are ahead. Trade, push, kill and farm as much as you want, but many champs often outscale Yasuo later on, so try not to sell your lead.
Yasuo's unique passive and mechanics make Crit Chance, one of his best stats. However, Yasuo is not just a Critting machine and so we must dig further onto his build to make the most out of him.
In previous seasons, Yasuo built full damage and crit to destory his opponents as an assasin, with items like Stattikk, IE and BT. However, those times changed and Yasuo has became more of a fighter that can deal huge amounts of damage in prolongued fights.
Items like PD, Triforce and Frozen Mallet are very good with Yasuo right now. These boost and enhance Yasuo's ability to ravage his opponents with Att speed, Crits, Slows and Damage Reduction.
Probably the moments where good and bad Yasuos differ.
After the laning phase, Yasuo either becomes crucial for his team, or he becomes useless.
Yasuo should be the one that generates the gold lead for himself or helps other develop theirs. To be more specific,Yasuo should either splitpush or teamfight along his teammates. You should decide which is the best for your team.
Flash and TP are very standard for Yasuo. Confident players may take ignite and exhaust to further improve their dueling potential, though I don't personally like them.
