Thanks for the feedback everyone. I may expand my strategy section as time allows.

@NeonSRB: Sword of the Occult is a good snowball item as well, but I feel like there is only room for one such item in a build. The reason I chose Leviathan over the Sword is that my goal was to create a melee build that could get involved in team fights. I feel like the 20 stack bonus on Leviathan is also more powerful then the move speed from Sword (keep in mind you won't have 20 stacks till end game when move speed means little in team fights). I also want to point out that Leviathan scales well with Atma's Impaler and the 31 point talent Juggernaut. Again, this is just my opinion based on my experience. I urge you to try the build and then critique. Thanks anyways for the feedback.

This is actually a pretty fun build. Very different from how I normally build, but I tried two games with it so far and have done well. Thanks for the guide!

Snowball items ate hot potatoes that i wouldnt recomend buying. You should talk a bit more straight. Other than that this build looks good.

This guide is neatly outlayed with good explanations and everything but I highly doubt the competitiveness of this build. If you don't get fed it is extremely punshing to build Leviathon, not to mention it makes you extremely weak devoting 1200 gold to an item that essentially provides half of what a phage does. This makes your laning extremely weak.

Aside from that it takes 8 stacks of leviathon to make it 'worth it' essentially, or break even in stats per gold

I have tried variations in the build order (and if you notice I also mention that this is just a guildline). I personally like Atma's as soon as possible, but I have sometimes gone with the giants belt first if I felt it was needed. The reason I postpone the Phantom Dancer is for the early start on snowballing and tankiness. Again, mix and match however you prefer (and keep in mind this game is very situational), I am just telling you the ways that I have played (and won). As far as your first question, you don't need to be fed with this build. Most of your stacks come from assists which you will get just from helping your team with Cannon Barrage and Raise Morale. You may not get a single kill till mid/late game, but your 20-30 assists will keep you powered up.

Thanks for the constructive critique. Hope you get a chance to try out the build and have fun with it.

so what happens if you dont get fed? also i think you should put a giants belt before atmas so you at least have some ad. or even put phantom dancer before atmas and warmogs. I dont really play gangplank but those are just my first thoughts from looking at the build
