Leveling up w like that and leaving q in level 1 is crazy, you will farm like hell but the early power of kennen will be nothing. the power of kennen is his early damage and combos (lvl6+), if you can unsuccessful poke them with your q and spending all your energy on w and e will not work.

First of all you will need to control your solo lane, and if you cant have your qs leveled up, you will be probably dominated in mid, and ****ed for a successful gank, the w damage is insufficent for that, and drinks energy like hell, knowing that you will need to put some marks earlier.

Also i find there are more items viable than lich bane to kennen, the same as hexctech gunblade, but i'll try them and comment again.
