First of all I want to say hi, I'm new here and this is my first guide. I hope you will enjoy it and learn something from it.

-Why flat AD runes?
With this build and masteries flat AD runes provide a great bonus to your early laning phase.

His passive is great if you go with this masteries, they provide a nice HP bonus, and allow you to stay in your lane pretty much until you gather gold for your items.

Start off with regular boots and 3 health potions. Why? You get the opportunity to farm against ranged champions, and with your Q and ghost, you are pretty much ungankable. If you have a champion that deals HP% damage (e.g. Elise) go for Hexdrinker/Chain mail, (Magic Resist/Armor). Warmog+Atma is essential for Garen, gives you a lot of HP/HP regen and a decent amount of damage. Boots Of Swiftness and enchantmet for bonus movement speed give you slow reduction which stacks with masteries and a lot of speed which once again makes you pretty much untouchable and allows you to chase down most of enemies. Frozen Malet gives you the slow on your Q to make sure enemies won't be able to escape your E. It can be replaced with Black Cleaver, if you get fed early on. And finally the Infinity Edge, with it, you are one unstobable moving tank which causes fear in your enemies eyes.

First of all max Q. Why? Movement speed duration increases so it's one of the strongest skills you can have on top lane. Take one point in W because it can counter ignite pretty much. After you get level 3 you can spam your Q/E/W combo to damage your enemy and go behind your minions. Because of your tankines you won't need W anymore, so max E next for bonus damage.

Pros:
Tanky solo top which can push his lane hard and destroy turrets with an ability to escape ganks.
Extremely strong mid game, pretty strong late game.

Cons:
Hard early game and farming if playing against a ranged champion.
Can be countered with multiple enemy champions with HP% damage and armor penetration/reduction.
