Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe ignite's damage does increase with torment which would be worth mentioning. Also about the leveling up Nevermove before Decrepify, the value in doing this comes from the reduced cd on nevermove and the reliability of the damage. Which one to level up first should be situational on whether or not you can guarantee the damage on Decrepify or not.

you make me think about the AD dmg cuz Torment , i dont like picking W so early cuz it penalize u if u cant get the enemy , as kami say Q is the strongest spell , it should be more like u trhow E and Q then u go back (maybe u take hits from the enemy but they usually go back after hitting u then u AA, if they choose to follow u they will be taking more Q dmg).
dont like mana regen on swain cuz if u Cs properly u woulnt have troules also the team should always let u blue.
u shoulda take runic affinity.
like the fact that u use doran's good top guide
BTW u can use some of my videos as a reference on mid gameplay

Decrepify, in fact, has the HIGHEST ap ratio and damage of any of Swain's abilities. It's 0.3 AP and the scaling damage PER SECOND. That means 0.9 AP and 255 at rank 5 for the full duration +20% from Torment actually making it Swain's most damaging ability.

Hmm, yeah you're right. That explains the 0.3 ratio then. It's still too unreliable of a damage ability to max first though, especially for the laning phase since it's so easily broken.

I'm not gonna vote cause I have a Swain guide too and I'm not a douche, but I will make a comment.

Quoted:
@fffreaks: Decrepify has by far the lowest AP ratio AND base damage of all Swain's abilities. Even the slow doesn't increase that much. It's really never worth it to max this before anything else.

That being said I actually do like the guide. Solo top Swain is usually a pretty good option while leaving mid for the true AP carries.

Very nice guide. I like swain and just started him in ranked games. The only think I would do different is I grab the extra buff timers in the utility tree, because i expect to get blue buff from my jungle.

tl, dr (yet)...

I managed to read through few chapters, rest of it tommorow. I deffinitely like your formating! Formating in chapter with solo top enemies is great! It looks like it can even work too (never played with Swain). Thanks for uploading your guide, deffinitely worth it!

@Zell: I never really liked Chalice of Harmony, the 2 Doran's Rings basically cover any early game survivabilty and mana issues. If you need magic resistance early game you can always get it through runes or Mercury's Treads.
As for those matchups, I know they are very common but they both also fall under the 'straightforward' category and it's basically what I explain throughout the guide. (harass with E, land kills when low enough with W - E - Q - R - ignite, don't take free hits, etc)

The magic resistance part as stated previously is just an extra bonus but the main point of the item is the mana regeneration which covers mid-late as well unlike Dorian's Ring. You missed out the masteries part whenever on purpose or not. Also, I see you've now added Greater Seal of Scaling Mana Regeneration. :-/
