Ability Details

Gangplank's basic attacks apply a poison debuff for 3 seconds that can stack up to 3 times. Each stack deals (3 + level) magic damage per second and slows the target by 7%.

- Grog Soaked Blade's application does not pop spell shields.
- Grog Soaked Blade's damage over time damages Black Shield and the slow is negated.



Cost: 40 / 45 / 50 / 55 / 60 mana
Physical Damage: 20 / 45 / 70 / 95 / 120 (+1.0 per attack damage)
Extra Gold: 4 / 5 / 6 / 7 / 8

Parrrley is a targeted ability that damages a target and applies on-hit effects. This ability is capable of a critical strike and will grant bonus gold if it kills the target.

- Parrrley procs on-hit effects.
- Parrrley pops spell shield.
- Parrrley will not damage Black Shield.
- Parrrley does not proc spell vamp and Rylai's slow similarly with all spells and abilities that proc on-hit effects.
- Parrrley will proc and apply effects from items like Sheen.
- Parrrley is affected by items like Thornmail, Warden's Mail and Ninja Tabi.
- Parrrley is considered an autoattack for the purposes of Tiamat, dealing 50% splash damage.
- Parrrley will be blocked by Aegis Protection, dodged by Counter Strike, and parried by Riposte.



Cooldown: 22 / 21 / 20 / 19 / 18 seconds
Heal: 80 / 150 / 220 / 290 / 360 (+1.0 per ability power)

Remove Scurvy is an active ability that heals Ganplank and removes any crowd control effects afflicting him at the time of activation.

- Remove Scurvy will remove almost any type of crowd control.
- Remove Scurvy is one of the few abilities that can remove suppression.
- Remove Scurvy does not remove Ignite, Exhaust, Urgot's Hyper-Kinetic Position Reverser's suppression or any knock backs or knock ups.



Cost: 50 / 55 / 60 / 65 / 70 mana
Passive Attack Damage Bonus: 8 / 10 / 12 / 14 / 16
Passive Movement Speed Bonus: 3 / 4 / 5 / 6 / 7%
Active Attack Damage Bonus: 12 / 19 / 26 / 33 / 40
Active Movement Speed Bonus: 8 / 11 / 14 / 17 / 20%

Raise Morale is a passive/active ability with two effects. It passively increases Ganplank's attack damage and movement speed. When activated, Gangplank gains an additional attack damage and movement speed, and all nearby allied champions gain half of his bonuses.
- Raise Morale's passive bonuses are lost for the duration of the active buff. It is not removed for the duration of the ability's cooldown.



Magic Damage: 65 / 110 / 155 (+0.2 per ability power)
Cooldown: 120 / 115 / 110

Cannon Barrage is a global ground targeted area of effect ability. When cast, enemy units hit by the cannon balls receive magic damage. Additionally, enemy units in the area are slowed.
- Cannon Barrage does not proc on-hit effects.
- Cannon Barrage procs spell vamp and Rylai's slow similarly with all area of effect spells and abilities with diminished effect.
- Cannon Barrage will damage Black Shield and the slow is negated.
- Cannon Barrage's slow will not pop spell shields but the damage will.
- Cannon Barrage grants vision of the targeted area for the duration.

+ You can go fast into the fight again, with full Health & Mana, more Movement Speed, +200 Health when skilled and maybe new Items
+ Enemies may forget that you have Revive

---> You shouldn't die and you can avoid to die with Ghost/ Flash



+ Gives you extra Mana ---> More lasthits with Parrrley or more Remove Scurvy

---> You shouldn't have Manaproblems, because you have Philosopher's Stone and, when you skilled it Meditation



---> You don't jungle



+ Gives you extra AS

---> You don't need the AP



+ You can heal fast and be on your lane in 4 seconds

---> GP is very fast and so you don't need it



+ Removes every CC

---> You have Remove Scurvy



+ You have a stronger minion

---> The minion dies too fast -> Useless



+ Gives you more sight

---> You aren't the supporter

Runes



These Runes will increase your crit damage by 20.07%!
E.g.: You crit for 1000 damage: 1000*(1+2.23*9/100) = 1201 damage!



Your crits will deal 13,38% more damage!
E.g.: You crit for 1000 damage: 1000*(1+4.46*3/100) = 1134


---> 20.07% + 13.38% = 33,45%
---> 1000*(1+33,45/100) = 1 334,5




Most Solotop Champions deal Physical Damage and so Armor will help you to have more sustain.



You won't get much Magic Damage in Early Game, but later you will get from the enemies AP Carry!


You will get more tanky without losing AD!

Core Items:

Parrrley-Crit your enemies to death! Easy 500 Crit only with this Item!
More and even bigger Parrrley-Crits? Here get it!
More Crit! More Attack Speed! More Movement Speed! GET IT!

Situational Items:

Heavy Magic Damage:

You get more AD? You get more MR? You can get a shield? Lower HP = More AD? Take it!
When the enemy team has much CC and much Magic Damage get it. It will help you incredibly!
Only take it when the enemies have much CC because you can finish 1 CC instantly!

Heavy Physical Damage:

You have about 2200 HP --> 44 AD + 45 Armor + 18% Crit! Isn't that good?
Take this only when the enemy team has 2+ Autoattackers or 1 fed Autoattacker (e.g. AD Carries, Tryn...)
350HP and 45Armor + AS/MS slow! +350HP + Atma's Impaler = 7 AD

Magic and Physical Damage:

Armor:

Most Solotop Champions deal Physical Damage and so Armor will help you to have more sustain.
Only get it when you don't die too often! It will help really much!

Magic Resistance:

You won't get much Magic Damage in Early Game, but later you will get from the enemies AP Carry!
Only get it when you don't die too often! It will help really much!
Is a really nice Item! Lets say you got just resurrected by GA with 750HP. Your max HP is 2200: (750/2200)*100 = 34% -> 100%-34% = 66%
66/2.5 = 26.4 AD

Laning/Farming

You start with a Regrowth Pendant and 1 Health Potion. You cover Blue/Red.
When the Minions are on your lane care for lvl. 2 ganks (e.g. from Shaco, Skarner, Jax. Try to don't AA any Minion, only lasthit them. When you can't lasthit a Minion with an AA, then use Parrrley. You should concentrate on lasthitting, so you can buy your items very fast. When you have 1265g, go back and buy Boots, Philosopher's Stone and a Vampiric Scepter. Go to your lane and stay there until you have enough Gold for Wriggle's Lantern(1150g). Then buy 1. Zeal 2. Sheen 3. Trinity Force
