ITEMS:
Mana manipular into soul shroud. This is a great first item. The extra health mana regen and cooldowns have saved my life and teammates so many times.

Boots I usually get are sorcerers. the magic pen is quite nice though sometimes I pick up boots of swiftnes if its a melee heavy team. I also pick up mercs treds if its cc heavy

Mana regen is key for sona so I tend to build the tear of the goddess into an archangels later. I like to pick up a second archangels just cause i love that item so much.

Void Staff. A must have IMO ability power and magic pen who dosent want that for any caster.

For me its usally gg before i even get the void staff but if the game has gone this long last resort is a zhonya's ring. Self explanitory item more ability power


Spells

I like to pick up flash and clarity. Flash has saved my life and got me many kills. I just recently started using clarity that extra mana especially early game gives me the ability to heal my teammate almost constantly as we haras the enemy. I was laning with taric the other day and between his heals and mine plus clarity when we get a bit low was so annoying for the enemy. We got a few kills and took down their tower without them even touching ours.


Runes
I go for magic pen red, mana regen per level yellow and flat cooldowns for blue and health quints

I have experimented with changing the blues to ability power but find that I prefer the cooldowns and just use items for the ability power.

Ability

I like to pick up heal straight off the bat (w). This helps with an early bush gank. being able to heal your teammate while they smack the enemy along with the 3 chord hit usually means an early kill or assist.

Next i like the hym of valor (q) ability. Well timed means lots of minion kills. If the enemy get to close this is great to take their health down.

I like to pick up the Song of celerity next (e). This is great for tower diving run in use q on a champ use e to get away from the tower then heal.

Next 3 are heal, hym of valor and cressendo (r). Enemy's love to dance this ult is so versitile. I use it for tower diving, getting away from ganks, ganking and stoping other ults. I love using it against amumu, nunu, galio, all those also is great against veiger he puts down his circle but you lock him down as well. I also like to use it after tryndamere goes into his endless rage. Just gives my team mates that extra time to stay a good distance away till it wears off. Timing is key

I wont go into the rest just keep those heals up, haras with hym of valour kite with song of celerity and make em dance with cressendo
