p.s. I'll definitely add uber kool music pictures soon. :]
+1. Maybe rerelease the guide during a Sona free week? To get more views? ^^
IMO you don't need that much GP5 in a lane where you're getting creep farms too.

Constructive Criticism:
I assume you mean glyphs? :P Generally, I would find this true, Sona doesn't have long cooldowns, nor does cooldown really make a difference until mid-game. tbh, I feel like you're more right in this instance, so I'll change it to prefer that.
I prefer Hymn of Valor for the Power Chord because your burst can do more than your heal/damage reduction. People do less damage earlier, so I feel like the Power Chord is less effective than double damage. Aria of Perseverance is definitely viable because the heal can fix some mistakes, but I find that the extra damage secures more kills (hopefully for someone else) than the heal/reduction prevents.
Really? I LOVE having wards at the beginning of the game. They let you play aggressively and safely, and sight is invaluable WHENEVER there's a roamer or jungler. I used to run doran's ring, but after I tried the faerie charm + wards, I've always preferred it. Also, faster phil stone is always fun.
This and #7 are explained in answers to other questions. Look at 9 and 10. :]
I'll work on that when I get home! Thanks! :]
Will change. :]
Sona doesn't get in people's faces enough to warrant Sorcerer's boots. Better off avoiding death / spammy spammy.
I did that on purpose to avoid fighting for visual power with the wiki codes when the abilities and such are introduced (AKA I thought it looked prettier). You think that was a mistake?
Here's how I see it: Eleisa's < Shurelya's < lucidity + eleisa's + soul shroud < mercury's + shurelya's + soul shroud.
Problem? The price. It costs ~1000 more gold to get Shurelya's Battlesong and Mercury's Treads over Eleisa's Miracle and Ionian Boots of Lucidity. By then you should already have a Kindlegem, or something of similar cost. Compare to the kindlegem. With Shurelya's and mercury's (in order of importance), you get +10 tenacity, slightly more health, a little magic resist, the active, and health regen (utterly useless). With my path, you already have max cdr, you have more mana regen, and you are almost halfway finished with your soul shroud. However, the stat advantage of Shurelya's is slight, and this is THE biggest advantage that a shurelya's build will have throughout the game. An Eleisa's Miracle and boots of lucidity build has a 1000 gold head start to finish the rest of the build. That's why it's better.
I will make sure to change that. Thanks for the criticism.
been there, done that. Did it as soon as I got that first vote. xP
1) Don't mix wards up ^^ Flat is better than levels with casters anyway.
2) I always start Aria of Perseverance due to its Power Chord and so I can heal allies straight up in the case of a bad start. But I used to run Hymn of Valor, so whatever words for you.
3) :/ I'm not a fan of the whole "Faerie charm + wards + pots = epic support". Doran's Ring always helps me out more. But it looks like you're catering to high elo play with this, so kudos.
4) Abyssal... I don't like, and if you get Shurelya's + masteries + Focus + Soul Shroud, you won't need Ionians, leaving you with the option of Mercs for magic resist, or Sorcs for magic penetration.
5) I'm enjoying the theme throughout your guide :) Maybe you should make up/request some images to put throughout your guide to link it even more closely to music.
6) Add in spaces after irregular punctuation. ie: "+ Does more damage"
7) Love your skill explanation. Very well set out. You have some coding errors here though: "Both aria of perseverance and song of celerity can be useful to use on an enemy who is trying to initiate by running in"
8) No suggestion of Sorc's?
9) I've noticed occasionally you don't wiki code things, ie, "Soul Shroud and Eleisa's Miracle have a better distribution of stats for Sona." and I'm wondering why when the icons are great visual reliefs.
10) I honestly believe Shurelya's is a core item for Sona. It gives her great bulk health, mana and health regen, plus the active is incredibly useful. I understand why you'd want Eleisa's, as I used to get it, but I honestly don't think Eleisa's > Shurelya's.
11) Your colours in the map are hard to see... Maybe think of using a different map?
