Introduction
But that there is no pictures on the spells and so on is because I don't know how to do it, so sorry for that in forehand!
Just take it cool stay in experience range and harass your opponent as much as possible.
But make sure that you don't run out of your mana, if you would get low mana, stop the harassment and just heal for awhile.
The only "hard" part is learning and having focus on your power chord, plus knowing which you shall use. How I do, i use my power cord with my "Q" in the early part, it realy helps you with the harassment. And then changing depending the situation, but most of the time casts my "W" on the most dangerous carry.
Ohh almost forgot!!!
If you are going to play AP Carry Sona, make sure the team knows, it really helps! ;)

Pro:
Excellent harasser.
Always good with heals.
Extra movement speed, perfect for get from one place to an other.
Buffs depending on with stance your using.
Weakens the enemies.
One of the better ultis, stun in a large area.
Cons:
Quite weak movement buff.
Can be a little bit hard to learn.
Only one stance at the time.
One of the slower champions original (305)
Very vulnerable if you don't keep you distance
Greater Glyph of force.
Always good to be better slowly but steady especially because you will be just harassing and supporting till about 5-7 around there so that you have both Tear of the Goddess and Sorcerers boots, and with some math AP per level runes are the same good in level 7
Greater Seal of Resilience.
For the survivability, simple as that.
Greater Seal of Replenishment.
If you think that Sona is to mana hungry then you can pick this instead.
Greater Mark of Insight.
This will help alot with the damage output, especially in the beginning.
Greater Quint of Potency.
An extra AP boost in the start. So better heal and more damage. Perfect!
Well the really core items is:
Sorcerer's Shoes, Archangel Staff and Rabadon's Deathcap.
But I would recommend you to build Rylai's Crystal Scepter. Thank to the slow and the extra hp it gives you.
Also it your opponent build much hp, then the Deathfire Grasp is one of your best friends(if you remember to use it).
