INTRO

First of all excuse me if i make any mistakes cause my english isn't perfect.Now to the point.Sona is one of the best supports i the game and my main champ for quite a while.I've tried many builds on her and nothing helps me fill my role more than this build.My aim is to be as aggressive as any Ap champ.However i still try to support my team to my best of abilities prioritizing it above getting kills.It's actually a variation of one of the builds here on MOBA.The reason i play like this is because enemies tend to target you first cause of the sustain you give to your teamates and of your squishiness.Becoming tanky means you can stay more time in action and not giving away free kills to the enemy team and leaving your team unsupported.Feel free to tell me if it works for you and don't say "bad build" without even giving it a try.

RUNES

Now as the title says its an AP build not full support so my rune choices are somewhat standard caster Ap runes.Mpen marks,mp/5 seals,flat AP glyphs(though i still run cd/lvl sometimes.Your choice to make.Both really good options) and flat AP quints give me a very nice early boost where sona can dominate if played well cause her damage fades lategame.(Except for special occasions where ur opponents are noobtards and take even the slightest MR in which occasion i switch to full AP sona for even greater dmg and greater heals.

Items

Now the items are where i think i run different with other AP sona guides.my main core is Archangell's staff,boots of lucidity and rylai's crystall scepter cause u need the mp(u actually starve for mp early game and clarity cant be off cd every time),CD means u spam more and more health and AP with a passive slow that makes the use of your passive with e loaded needless leaving space for your Q and W.Usually i get these items at around 20-25 min.After that i build a banshee's veil for its excellent passive,more HP & MP and some MR.Then its time for the guardian angel which makes Sona a pain in the *** cause you wont die easily and even if you do you get a second chance every 5 min.Last comes the deathcap for a huge boost to your AP meaning you heal more and you deal more dmg.
