Well the only way you could get that much health at level 1 is to replace the quints with flat hp. If you do this and figure out that it is much better then please let me know but to me it seems like it would be a waste of the possible AP and the rune slots. Please I more than welcome you to prove me wrong though :]

100 HP makes all the difference in the world at level 1. That equivalent to a tank going from 4000 HP to 5000 HP at level 18.

Like I said though: if you play right then you don't get hurt for more than you can heal. If you know that the people can easily destroy you and there is nothing that your lane partner can do to help as well then stay back and play it safe. 100 health shouldn't be a major factor and if you get the Health per level runes it is much less then that. If they have one nuke cycle then they will most likely be able to do it again and the 100 health won't end up mattering.

Like i said, though : healing means nothing if you are dead. That extra 100 hp from the start is the difference between surviving a nuke cycle and taking a dirt nap.

I will address the questions brought up the best that I can.

1. She might get some of her kills through KSing but then again, who doesn't? It is just like Heimer's rockets in the way that it works and it is great for fighting later on. I have used it to knock out at least 1/3 of squishies health and it still lets me heal a great amount. It is just enough damage to make you viable for dps and not straight up support like Soraka is. When you have a full on support on your team then you miss out on quite a bit of DPS but if you do this build then you will be able to both support and do some good damage.

2. I chose clarity, not only for me early on, but for those people later that need it. While this is more of an AP damage build than a support build, she is a support character and you cannot ignore that completely. If you feel that there is a better combo of summoner abilities that you can use then please let me know but so far, being able to bring all of my allies up to close to full mana in the middle of a fight can really turn the tables.

3. If you play her like the ranged dps/support that she is then the only time you would need to use an escape would be during a gank in which you most likely won't live from anyways. She does have a speed increase that can help her as much as she needs. When I play her I am always in the back and letting the tanks and the melee dps fight first while I sit back and heal/dps from behind.

4. I prefer the more AP for the runes because runes don't make a massive difference in any of the stats like that, at least they don't seem to to me. I feel that a little more healing and damage is more important that another 80 or 100 health. It might help you survive one more hit but you have a heal for that.

Please let me know if I left something unanswered. I hope I made something I didn't clear.

While I do agree that she can do decent damage with this build, it's still very bursty, and most of you kills will probably be ks'es. I think that with a support build, she still ok damage, but is far more useful in team fights. I also agree that HP quints are far superior, as all that damage is useless when dead.

I like the concept, but there's a couple things i dont care for. 1; the runes, sorry but id rather get health quints and cooldowns than go straight AP. Survivability trumps pown factor for me. 2; summoner spells. Clarity is cute and Teleport is fine, the problem is now you have no way of escape from ganks or an unfavorable teamfight. You will die a lot with this build, especially if the enemy sees you "nuking" for that much.

I wont downvote this, but i cant up vote either.

EDIT: Another note, as i just tried this build without success; If you are going the "nuke" route and DONT tell your team they are expecting more from you than to KS them (which is really how she gets kills, she STILL isnt dealing that much damage off Hymn or power chord.)

Long story short ; Some champs are the center stage, they get the kills frequently. Trying to shoehorn a champ into their roles doesnt make you pro. Sometimes just a good support can make the game, not everyone needs to be all-star killers.

just curious why would you get clarity if you have a mana regen item seems useless to me

It is funny that, if a Champion says Support then many assume that they can only be support. Thanks for the comment :P

I like the build, and I also LoL at those who call me nub for not getting support items. She's a support champ far unlike Soraka. Her damage can shock u sometimes ^-^
