Supports must support eachother. That Lichbane was pretty eye opening for me (Not that much of a Sona player]], but I got Trinity Force on her for the same reason :P

Okay. I AM a very good support player, and I agree the guide is well written. I'd upvote but your runes are REALLY bad. So, no vote.

1. CDR blues are not essential for Sona, especially early game. Her only long CD skill is of course her ult, her other skills' CD being 7 seconds means you only shave off a fraction of a second. Not worth it. I only take CDR blues on Soraka.

2. Consider taking armor reds instead of mpen. As it stands, you have not a single defensive rune, and coupled with 9/0/21 masteries, means you can get out traded easily. Especially now that Riot made the mistake of nerfing Sona's base health and armor.

The gold will help you out a lot. It's good for catching up if you're maybe losing the lane, or getting even further ahead (well, kind of) if you're winning the lane. CDR doesn't really benefit much, since you'd be getting items that give CDR anyway. IMO, the CDR Glyphs won't even always be necessary, I'd reach the 40% cap before late game anyway. As for the Mana Regen, the Seals is really enough, there's no point in getting any more, especially when the Quints for Mana Regen don't scale well at all compared to other ones. By the time you get philosopher's stone and Tear of the Goddess, you shouldn't be running out.

I'm not exactly a very good support player, but I think this guide is fabulous, well written!
