Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Is there any sanity to this?
Actually, yes there is. This is the exact opposite of how the game was made to represent Soraka. But, if you complete all of this it gives you a absolutely shocking amount of DPS. This completely reverses squishy Soraka and could turn her into a Hypercarry. I myself have gone 20/6/8 with this build and it is absolutely devastating upon the other team. This doesn't only work here though. It's amazing on ARAM if your lucky enough to get Soraka.
In early game it is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY to stay behind a tank or someone in top lane who can take the hits for you. Remember to use your Infuse to temporarily silence enemies if they are about to use any abilities and charge you. Once you get past your squishy stage you should be fine to 1v1 or even 1v2 enemies. It is also optional to get the Eleisa's Miracle and get that early game health and mana regen to keep you out there longer. Its Unique ability to disappear yet still give you the buff can really help throughout the enitire game.
Depending on the situation you would either 1)Focus directly on this build. 2) After Manamune go straight for Statikk Shiv if your team wants to push. Or 3) Go straight for the Blade of the Ruined King. Regardless your first priority is to not die at all.
Focus your Silence and always take your Ultimate. In any case at all where you're in trouble you must hit Heal, Astral Blessing, Wish. After this if you have it, use your Blade of the Ruined King ACTIVE Ability to take your enemy's movement speed and health and either 1)Run away or 2)Throw bananas at them until they die. Remember your healing spells are mainly for YOURSELF. Other people come second. Supporting is not your goal.
Farming is necessary for gold. Early game you need to stay away from team fights and FARM FARM FARM! Getting a Statikk Shiv and using your Starcall along with your amazing DPS can destroy minion waves and grant the feed you need.
When you get the Tear of the Goddess for the Manamune you need to spam your starcall everywhere you go. You need the extra damage output from the Muramana toggle ability as soon as possible.
Creeping / Jungling
Mid game you want to start taking Soraka into the least common place ever- the jungle. As if it didn't get any weirder, you can easily, once you get your Runaan's Hurricane, take Dragon SOLO. It is VERY important to take Blue Buff when you can as it will give you the extra mana for Starcall, and Astral Blessing and the Muramana Toggle ability. Now that you're OP as all of hell itself go be like Mundo and go where you please.
Pros / Cons
Squishy Early Game
All your teammates will probably rage at you XD
You're a boss
Your damage output will be ranged and be almost as much as a full build Tryndamere
