-Need to work on BB coding a lot.
-9/0/21 masteries on a mid champ? should be 21/9/0 or 21/0/9.
-Having heal as a summoner spell is redundant. Use ignite, tele, or exhaust.
-Use magic pen marks and magic resist glyphs.
-I prefer charm, pots, wards start over doran's.
-RoA is good but why aegis? Use more tanky AP items like abyssal and zhonya's.
-Get E at level 1, helps farm and no mana cost.
-Don't max E first, max Q then alternate W and E.

Ehn. It has good value for late game, etc, but...

1) Your Aegis of the Legion should be a Runic Bulwark (not why I'm downvoting, just pointing out that its out of date)

2) DFG is pretty bad for Soraka right now (Edit: unless you're going straight APraka)

3) You don't really talk about alternative items as much as you should. A good guide says that these items are staples and these items can be bought to counter this and these ones to counter this.
