I am not really a person who like to go in depth, and i also am not a fantastic writer, so, if you need any further in depth details, just send me a message with your questions, and i will do my best to further explain it.

Greater Glyph of Scaling Ability Power- was chosen as the Glyph because it provides the largest boost for per level ability power runes. i prefer this over flat out runes because they provide you more damage as you and your enemy level up.

Greater Quintessence of Ability Power- was chosen because it has a large bonus for ability power as far as a flat out rune goes. you can replace them with the Greater Quintessence of Scaling Ability Power, but i would suggest the base increase so you have a better chance of a pregame win and initial damage to allow you easier harrass and farming.

Greater Seal of Ability Power- flat out runes are best for the seals because it offers a nice amount of ability power to begin with, i know that it isn't as good as the glyphs flat rate, but the glyph is best with the per level Greater Glyph of Scaling Ability Power.

Greater Mark of Magic Penetration- Is more of a contraversial rune, i don't really use magic pen very much, i would actually go with a Greater Mark of Ability Power to capitolize on your ability power, but penetration can help with the tanky units, or units with a higher magic resistance

Masteries I use are actually universal, as in they work for any type of unit, they may not be the best, but I am kind of lazy, and it got really hassling with too many pages, so i calculated the best way to combine them all and got this page.

Doran's Ring - Taken first for the ability power
sorcerer's boots- for the large increase on movement speed and the bonus of magic penetration
Rylai's Crystal Scepterfor the slow, because it can be quite a hassle chasing people down, and the health will make you less squishy, and the nice ability power
Void Staff for the ability, and the penetration
Rabadon's Deathcap for the massive ability power boost and the increase of your ability power by 30%
Morello's Evil Tome for the ability power, and cd reduction
Zhonya's Hourglass should replace the dorans ring, and the armor can help you fight those pesky attack damage people who seem to think they will kill you, and the ability power really helps make you a large threat. and you never know when you will need the active ability of it.(not that i reember my items have actives..)

Mejai's Soulstealer- is optional, it is a bit risky using a snowball item like this, best used when the enemy's tend to die a lot. I would usually grab this early before Rylai's Crystal Scepter it would replace the Zonhya's Hourglass

Skill Sequence/Usage

To start, i put a point in Pillar of Flame for the AoE kind of effect it has. it i good for killing minions, and forcing the enemy champs who don't want to be hit with it into a certain direction. To properly use it early on, the enemy champion, who is typically a ranged person, will usually stand back with the casting minions, you should try to cast Pillar of Flame on those three guys, and attempt to include the champion with them. then you should get a point in the Sear for even better harrassing of the enemies. if you do manage to include the enemies in the pillar, you can move to the side, which you should be anyways, to try and keep a clear path between you and the enemy. with the Blaze on the enemy, the second effect of sear will stun them, if you have hit them with a pillar or two prior, they should be fairly lower in the health, with them stunned by the Sear, an Ignite, and a few basic attacks, you should be able to kill them off. the conflageration is next. this will allow you to kill people even faster. set them Blaze with conflageration, then use your Sear, to stun them, if you can, use Ignite, and as fast as you can, use Pillar of Flame, you should be able to kill them early with this combo.

Pyroclasm is good for when the enemies decide to come at you, a simple sear on one of the champs, for the Blaze, then use your conflageration to spread the Blaze, then Pillar of Flame for the massive damage to the enemies, and launch out your ult, Pyroclasm, with them Blaze, the fire will travel much faster between enemy units incase they are running and want to seperate, it will get you kills quite rapidly.

When I solo, i find that Pyroclasm is best used as they use Flash to get away, because if you used it as the are stunned by Sear, it will either, bounce from them, to minions and back, or they will Flash away, and it will fly after and it should be able to kill them, because a Flash indicates that you have lowered them down to low health.

So, my brand combo is; Conflageration -> Sear -> Ignite/ Pillar of Flame -> Pyroclasm

Summoner Spells

I use Ignite for the mastery with increase of ability power when it is on cd, and to combine it with my Blaze to take down people as they are running away with little to no health.

I also use Flash, because Brand is fantastic in mid, so he tends to get ganked because the enemy mid cannot handle your awesomeness alone, so a Flash i highly helpful to escape. it can also be helpful for chasing down enemies who start to run away. It can also be used to dive and live. You can run into the turret, finish off the enemy, and flash back out of range to escape the turrets evilness

You can use any summonner spells you desire, these are just the ones I use to play with.
