Hard to time turtle shield just right sometimes

I start of with Boots and Health Potion x3 just to have some extra speed and health if you get low trying to go for FB.
Second, when I have enough for Mercury's Treads and Vampiric Scepter I head back to pick those items up. I head back to lane to help my teammate, but when I get enough for Wriggle's Lantern I head back and pick that up. Why? Because the extra damage on minions is nice for farming, and who can complain about always having a ward on you? Trust me, having the Life steal from this + the ability to avoid those pesky ganks is worth the trip.
After the Lantern I start building my core damage items, starting with Madred's Bloodrazor , and I usually get Recurve Bow first to build up to Bloodrazors. The extra Attack speed is always nice on top of Tiger's speed.
After I get Bloodrazors I build Phantom Dancer, the Move speed/Crit/ and Attack speed are amazing. Then I go into Malady for the extra Attack speed and Passive.
Finally, I get Bloodthirster because the extra Life steal is just to good to pass up, and not mention it has some pretty decent damage as well.

Remember to always visit the jungle whenever you have free time, not only to get extra XP from monsters, but the buffs are to hard to pass up.
Once you get to level 18, and finish off your Malady (Or even your BT) You should have the ability to solo barren. Just keep activating Tiger, and turtle as you take damage. Then prepare to get hugs cause everyone loves a free baron buff!
Also, when playing Udyr remember that all of his abilities have an Active and a Passive. Always remember to activate his abilities to get more out of them.
