|Karthus||Trade, trade trade, eventually, he'll die. And then just jump away so he can't hit you while being dead. If he at some point ults you, use ur E, it reduces a small amount of damage. Also a reason to put an extra point in your E to be prepared.|
Welcome! First of all, allow me to introduce myself. I am Brunis. Nothing more to say really. And I wanted to share with you of what I think of my favorite champion, Katarina.
When I first started playing katarina I thought she was very funny, strong and mobile. I really saw the no-mana thing as something extraordinary.
Now I've learned about her weak laning, about her chance of getting focused, and picked off. If you as Katarina dies before a fight, the fight will probably not end well for your team. Since she relies heavily on her team and waiting out the enemies heavy cc and ultimates. An example to this would be joining the teamfight a little
"late". Not really late, but not at the start of it. It's basically all about patience. And timing. As a Katarina player you have too be fast on your fingers, know which button you're pressing and when. People often tend to give me the comment "keyboard well smashed" or "nice smashing keys" or "wow so hard spam keys noob" and other stuff not unlike the ones I mentioned.
I will now try to give you a short brief of how I play my favorite champion. Katarina the Sinister Blade.
Starting of with the lane I chose. I recommend you too mainly go her mid. But sometimes somebody else feels that he/she wants mid, and you still want to play Katatina. Then you'll be better of to try and convince them to go an AD/Hybrid midlaner so you can take the top lane. Depending on if you go her mid and top there's a slight change in the way I like too play her. I will describe them both shortly. For my summoner spells I always take Flash, it is a must on the majority of champions. And will extend your mobility. As my second pick of summoner spell i often go Ignite, too make sure that my enemy dies so I can reset my abilities with my passive. When I know that I do not have kill pressure in my own lane, I would rather pick teleport. And the reason for that being that you can quickly join a fight and turn it to the favor of your own team. For an example, your bot lane is pushing and the enemy jungler decides to show up, both your botlane and the enemies are under half HP, and they are in need of your help. You can easily, with1 click of a button get there. Of course it takes time to channel your teleport and the enemies will most likely notice you. But if they've gone in on your teammates it isn't the easiest thing to disengage and run away. You will most likely pick up the kills or allow your botlane to get them. So depending on the enemy I face, I take either ignite, or teleport
