Morale, Encouragement, Praise, Positive Attitude, Communication OP
Please be mindful that smack talking teammates will not help them improve. Instead give constructive criticism. Praise & encouragement also improves team morale.
Dragon Timer: 6 minutes
Baron Timer: 7 minutes
Before taking a turret- check map to see if their are missing enemies, if there are, ward the jungle area that is by the turret. If you don't have a ward, push your minions and leave
ROAMING- Roaming is a difficult, but pretty necessary part of teamwork. You can not "carry" your team by getting the most kills. If you pushed minions on an enemy turret or just took the enemy turret, try to see if other lanes need help. Do not roam if your lane is not pushed because by the time you get back, your turret will be damaged or gone
Avoid using the phrase "carry". It is a team game, so it requires TEAM work. Saying that ONE person is doing most of the work, even if accurate, will discourage other team members
Avoid blaming specific people for mistakes. Realize each team member contributes to winning/losing.
When calling people out...
Best to refer to the whole team
"Let's stay more grouped"
"Let's focus on defending"
"Let's focus turrets/objectives over kills"
When calling out someone specific, be CAREFUL
"Yasuo, you probably shouldn't have dived that turret with only half health. It's okay, though, no worries."
"Ashe, please try to stay behind minions so you don't get snared by that Morg stun"
"Lee, can we please get a gank @ bot when you have a chance?"
Do not be rude to the opponent team. Stay modest & honorable.
If one teammate is being toxic to another, stand up for each person, mediate the fight.
Example..."Yi, back off of Sivir. Everyone makes mistakes; negativity won't help. Yi did make a good point though- do not engage Cait & Thresh when you're alone"
]If you see opponent complaining about their team, discourage them. "I know it can be frustrating when your team feeds, but showing them negativity will not help."
In a team game, you have to maintain faith in your team members even if they aren't doing well because in a team you are dependent on each other. Do not stop ganking a lane just because they didn't get off to the best start. However, if you don't think they will get the kill, then take it.
Do not rage about KSing. If it really starts to be a problem say something like "Please try to let me have kills. I could have gotten that last one. It's no biggie, though, mistakes happen"
