Hi everyone and welcomme in this Fizz guide. If you like playing with a funny champion, who can make mad your opponents, Fizz is for you. Don't play Fizz if you hate to be in move all the time.
One thing before I let you read the guide : I'm french (well, nobody's perfect) so I apologize for my misstakes.
Fizz, The Tidal Trickster
Centuries ago, an ancient water-dwelling race built a hidden city beneath a mountain in the sea. Though these creatures had their enemies, the city was an impenetrable fortress, and, in the safety it provided, they grew complacent. Fizz, however, harbored a curious spirit that could not be satisfied living so cushioned a life. Unable to resist the allure of danger, Fizz had a habit of sneaking out of the city to look for trouble. In his many adventures he grew to be a powerful fighter with a keen resourcefulness that let him skirt danger with clever ease. One day, Fizz returned to find the city abandoned: his people had vanished, leaving Fizz without a clue to explain their disappearance. With nothing left in the city to keep him, Fizz salvaged an enchanted trident from the ruins and set out alone.
For years, Fizz wandered the ocean, using the skills he'd learned during his adventures as a young boy to survive. Finally, Fizz discovered the port of Bilgewater. He was fascinated with the existence of life above the water and could not resist exploring the island. In his endless curiosity, Fizz inadverently meddled in the affairs of the humans who lived there and his presence did not go unnoticed. His mischief angered many residents who eventually sought to capture or kill him. Fizz found himself cornered, and he prepared to return to the sea despite the fondness he'd come to hold for Bilgewater. As he stood at the docks, a massive dragon-shark attacked the port. Fizz defeated the beast, using his resourcefulness and knowledge of the creatures' weaknesses to his advantage. Having earned the gratitude and respect of the humans, Fizz decided to stay in Bilgewater. He joined the League of Legends to further serve his new home.

Pros / Cons
+Good to escape/move/dodge
+Has a shark
-Weak against ranged at early game
-Need to be reactive
-Hard to use for beginners
-Dependent of his CDs
You don't need Flash because of your Playful / Trickster. With the mastery, you have a ghost which up your speed and makes you elusive.
Perfect for you : up your attack speed and your AP, so all what you need during a fight. With it, you can have the first blood easily.
You can farm with all of your abilities, but the best is Playful / Trickster : jump two times and you do an awesome AoE. You can also use your Urchin Strike like the Bladesurge of Irelia. Your shark ( Chum the Waters) is pretty good too but that's your ulti so don't use it to farm.
During a fight, you must keep in mind how you can escape : so, never chain Urchin Strike and Playful / Trickster.
I engage with Playful / Trickster, there is two way to use it :
- you can charge your opponents with two jump if they are far, or
- you can jump one time only and click to move to slow them if they're close
Well, now you're in the fight...
Activate your Seastone Trident, which is really powerful. You can cast Surge at this time too.
Use Urchin Strike to finish fugitives or to dodge. To maximise it, you can activate Seastone Trident just before.
About Chum the Waters, you can use it to :
- count an area ability (like the Absolute Zero of Nunu), or
- simply attack all the team, or
- cover an escape, or
- finish a fugitive
Your power is your mobility, due to the passive Nimble Fighter, you can (and you must) harass safely on your lane.
Buy Boots of Speed first, with two Health Potion (or three if you're not comfortable). You will upgrade these boots into Sorcerer's Shoes or Berserker's Greaves (first are better) according to your preferences.
2. Gold gold gold !
Kage's Lucky Pick is fairly useful : some AP and gives gold that will help you to buy the rest of your items. At the end, you'll replace it by Rylai's Crystal Scepter.
3. First scepter
Now, you want (yeah, really, you want it) Rod of Ages. That's good for you : it gives some HP and mana (both you need and you have not so much at early game), plus AP. Nice to get it soon beacause of its effect when you gain a level. Moreover it makes you powered with the time (+180 health, +200 mana and +20 AP in 10 minutes, lovely !).
Spend Catalyst the Protector first, and upgrade it.
4. Time to be awesome
The two items which will make you really strong are Rabadon's Deathcap and Lich Bane.
First, buy Sheen. It's not expensive and it will reinforce your attacks pending you get Lich Bane.
Next, you need some AP to take full advantage of Lich Bane, so spend Rabadon's Deathcap before and then purchase Lich Bane.
Thus, you can tell it to your team "guys, now I'm awesome !"
5. Better faster stronger
To finish your item set you need Malady, because of the attack speed and its effect, and Rylai's Crystal Scepter, because of some HP, AP and its effect.
6. Other items
There is a few items you can buy if you don't want one of these I purposed :
There is only one type of mark you need for Fizz : Greater Mark of Magic Penetration. Others are less interesting.
If you play SoloTop, armor will be useful, but if you don't, you can choose another type of seal, like AP or HP (you can have 6 of one and 3 of other).
There is only one interesting type of glyph for you : Greater Glyph of Scaling Ability Power. You don't need some AP at early game but some of it at the end.
This time you have some choice : it depends of your preferences.
