lol, im not gonna vote or something and not even gonna try this build out but i laughed so hard with the idea of support ashe.. if i try it i will inform you :P

Played with him as support ashe in ranked. He went 2/12/5 while stealing creep score from the soraka who had already locked in as support before him. Not only did he ruin that game, refuse to build for the team, and steal creep score... as this support he NEVER warded until the supposed battlemage soraka had to ward for him. All this about him personally not even with a better player support Ashe is NOT viable.

Troll build. You can reason why you should jungle soraka with the right words. Just cuz it can be done doesnt mean it should.

I question one thing. Why lvl up Hawkshot before Volley?? Its cooldown is still the same, you get a better range but even the basic is good enough. Then you write about CDR stuff to spam Volley and its cooldown decreases great with every lvl (4secs/lvl). This confuses me.

I think this is interresting idea, but still you cant shield/buff/heal your lane partner. Soraka/Sona/Janna will always be better support champs.

Well, I level up Hawkshot before Volley because the basic one is not good enough. If i try to shoot their blue from my bot lane, i have to go all the way in the river. As for volley, i use as a poke in lane, and don't have much use for it other than its cooldown decrease and damage increase. But we are a slowing machine/aurabot. There are different types of supports by the way. No, Ashe isnt one of those great supports, I thought of this build for a fun, but viable support. The different types of supports are like sustain supports, such as soraka. There are CC supports that do some healing, taric/alistar, i guess you can put janna in there as well because of her slow/knock up/ heal ult. But Ashe is a slow support. If your team gets somebody low, and you are shooting at them, they wont get away. That is why i have so many assists, because when i shoot at them with my 30% movement speed reduced Frost Shot, then they have a hard time getting away. So, this is basicly a fun support, but still viable.

While CC and constant CV is nice, a lane with support Ashe lacks any sustain. Ashe's slow is not bad yet there are many supports with much harder cc. Even Fiddle would make a better support due to silence - fear durations. Moreover, due to squishiness you can't tank or save your carry like rammus or alistair could. An Ashe + AD Carry lane will be way too squishy and without any heal. Ashe + Teemo - Ashe + Graves - Ashe + Corki lanes will be eaten alive by Galio - Sona - Alistar - Taric - Soraka - Janna + AD Carry lanes. Soraka is basically a mana fountain and others have some form of hard cc + heal or shield. Global stun is nice of course, yet when it comes to comparison Rammus have a 3 second sound each 10 seconds, and he is last one to die in team fights.

Also Ashe doesn't have any initiation skills other than her ulti. Just a poke and a constant slow, which is good - but a Soraka with Crystal Scepter also has it, and she has it mass. So, if you are to prove that support Ashe is viable, you have to prove to the reader why she is better than other supports. Because in case Riot doesn't delete them, in the end of the day, there are dozens of better supports than Ashe.

I'm not going to downvote, it's an interesting idea i'll give you credit for that. But this build doesn't prove me that Ashe is viable support. Any character could be played as anything by a good player, but it doesn't prove that it's viable, it just means that the player knows what he is doing.

The biggest advantage of Ashe is snowballing due to the Gold bonus and the constant slow, it's the way that Riot build her. If she catches someone out of position while fed, there is NO way to escape from Ashe. Playing her as a support and skipping CS is a HUGE waste of that potential. Ashe + AD Carry means, Ashe will do what she already does anyway and AD Carry will do the damage. Ashe can do the same thing solo if built AD anyway.
