Oh, and I still haven't figured out the picture things that people do, otherwise I'd use them. This is the first guide I've done here on mobafire, not sure how all the special things work yet.

After some testing it appears that with the latest patch having multiples of the same gold generation item is pointless. Gold generation seems to still stack if you have different items that provide it, however. Not sure if that is intended or not. For now will update the build anyway. The rod of ages is nice because it has everything on it, and is reasonably priced for what you get.

As to escaping.. since I am not trying to nuke with this build, hopefully the rest of the team would be in the way making it harder for them to get to you and focus down. Her AE is decent because of its spam and debuff, but I don't even take it until pretty late most games. I'll try some games without TP though (I really like CV, even for normal games).

I'll look for dif marks, but none of them seemed worthwhile really. Health ones might be okay though, like you mentioned. For yellow i just like armor. It helps to negate the enemy arpen runes and gives some earlier survivability through reduced damage taken.

You have a couple of things you should take into consideration:
First of all about runes, you might wanna have some mana regen runes to cover your own mana regen and to use Infuse mainly on allies. Second since Soraka doesn't really need to dmg, switch mag pen runes to scaling AP or something like that for a better heal instead. (Or maybe HP?)
Yet again about mana regen, maybe instead of taking 2 lucky picks, pick philosopher's stone for better regeration since you build Soul Shroud quite late. I'd eprsonally build it BEFORE Rod of Ages which is pretty original on Soraka: I shall try that.

Major problem with this build is that you don't have ANY escape skill. That just screams to focus on you. Even heals won't help at that point. Teleport is a nice spell but works more on normal games where you can sacrifice CV, but you shouldnt sacrifice Flash.

Other than those notions, this build seems quite nice and original on Soraka :) I miss only pictures for Items and such to make it easier to read even if you're lazy and skip a few sentences.

Thanks, I just messed around with it a bit.. the randuins wasnt helping so much because you dont WANT to be in their team as soraka, and so i took that whole part out to get the RoA.

Yeah i mentioned DFG, but it would really depend on how the game is going for you i think if you went with that or some other item like zhonya.
