overall this guide is very well coded and indepth, however your item build is really bad. archangels? you dont really need that at all. if you are arguing for mana, one should be enough as your team should give you blue buff. rylais? the slow will only proc from your ultimate, which you must land. there are much more health options. add in a situational items section. also turn on require comment to vote.

Hi my friend. We talked about this via pm already, but I will say a couple of things to it, so other people will not get confused.

The whole build is desinged to abuse Living Artillery as more or less your only attack. You are partly right by saying 1x Archangel's Staff provides enough mana. But there are a couple more things. Because mana is only one side of the coin. The other is getting as much AP possible. And after doing the math, there is no other item in League of Legends, thats provides more AP than Archangel's Staff when being stacked. So this item is vital.
And believe it or not, you will often run out of mana with ONE Archangel's Staff already. At level 18 with 1x Archangel's Staff you will have exactly 2591 mana. If you start spamming your ultimate (1 sec CD only!) after just 10 seconds, you spent 40+80+120+160+200+ 5x 200 = 1600 mana! You are basically losing 200 mana per second. Thats impossible to compensate with just 1x Archangel's Staff. So you can see, besides the enormous AP you NEED this mana, or else you are losing DPS.

About Rylai's Crystal Scepter: As you said already it just works with my ultimate: Thats what I want, as we mainly use it :)
One could argue that another Archangel's Staff would be even more AP. And this is correct too. You are losing more or less exactly 140 AP when using Rylai's Crystal Scepter instead of another Archangel's Staff. This would be around 46 damage less per second. BUT when being slowed with Rylai's, chances are VERY high to hit a second Living Artillery. And after just 1 more hit, you are miles ahead damage-wise.
As you could see on my Karthus build already, I like to calculate everything out to be 100% sure its the optimal decision.

AP Kog'maw is definitely viable, just won with him in ranked, went 6/3/11 as my final score. 1350 elo, definitely buying Kog'Maw when he goes HP :P.

I disagree on the rylai because there is no need to slow. all you need is enough ap to nuke them down.

There should be penalties for excessive use of intense swag, which would send this guide to jail. It's a very nice guide and shows the usefulness of AP Kog. Only thing is don't you think you should use Void Staff? It'd really help more instead of building as much ap as possible and keeping only 30 mpen, which in that case would only be worth it on champs who have only 75 Mr or less, and most will have more. If they don't they're probably squishy and easily killed no matter what the circumstance.

Last thing, Caustic Spittle is a pretty powerful nuke, and get's much more power rather than Bio-Arcane Barrage. I think you should upgrade that after Void Ooze, keeping on point in W just for the damage. The need for Bio-Arcane Barrage isn't even present in early stages of the game anyway, so that'd be ok.

The guide still pretty swag-tastic, so I'll give you a +1 :)
