Hey all! I am Kai, and this is my guide for Swain, The Grand General of Noxus. Swain has been underrated and underplayed for a while. Guess what, starting Patch 6.9, the new mage meta, he will rise up once more!

I am a Swain main Top/Mid player at Gold III, and have fell in love with this champion ever since I tried him. Hope this guide helps you

Pros / Cons

Pros
    Awesome CC
    Insane Sustain
    1 v 5 when ahead
    Tanky while dishing out tons of damage
Cons
    Low range mage
    Countered by Ignite, Heal reduction items
    Early game mana problems

Team Work

Swain is a great team fighter. Tons of CC, versatile, able to be a front liner, AP burst or tank.

Farming

Before, swain had suffered from lack of damage to farm, due to his kit being DOT. Farming with ulti also proved to be too many hungry. Luckily, after patch 6.9, Swain no longer suffers from farming issues.
