swain is a mage but his 1 amazing move is his special, Ravenous Flock. it heals him and only has a 10 sec cooldown.

i like to get a lot of mana with swain for my ravenous flock. if u r low on health get near a bunch of enemy minions and use ravenous flock. be careful not to use ravenous flock too long or ur mana will get drained.

for swain u want ability power because all of his spells do damage. as i said earlier use ravenous flock to heal and if u have ability power u get more healing and less time using ravenous flock so it drains less mana.

the main combo for swain is nevermove then before the nevermove traps him cripple and torment then just attack him.
