Introduction

Welcome to my new guide!

Syndra is a champion that is not frequently seen and I think that's why is interesting play with her. The most attractive of Syndra is her ultimate Unleashed Power you can directly delete any squishy in two hits or help to burn down a large amount of HP of any dangerous threat if the situation requires it.

Syndra is also a trolling champ. She can play with her spheres, positioning them in strategy places in order to stun the enemies, push them, escape or help team mates to do it :P

In my opinion Syndra is the "untypical" mid champion that requires a lot of intelligence and experience to truly UNLEASH THE POWER!

Syndra is a champ that requires a lot of skill to hit well with her spheres and you need to be very fast and assertive.

Well, I believe that champions like Akali for example are a lot more easy. You just need to hit some buttons and you can burn any squishy in a matter of seconds, without really caring of wich combination of buttons you are pressing and I find this disgusting.
I know is not so much like this and with Akali you have to perform a combo, but anyways, hitting the keyboard with the head also works! With Syndra you can not do this even in dreams!

Syndra is a very interesting champion! other champions that require less skill and do more re ta rd damage are of course better if want to win (e.g. Kha'zix, Darius ulti) but anyways... <Syndra well played can do "destroys" in a game! ;)>

Builds

STANDARD


This build is the standard build we can say, agressive runes/masteries, with items to have mana regen, AP, magic penetration, survivality and slow. Also the equilibrium of farm/gold/time/AP is very good.

MEDIUM


The medium build is more an intermediate build, where we have agressive runes, the masteries are 21/0/9, but also I suggest use the masteries like in the Balance build if you feel confortable and for the same reason as I have explained before: more gold, more exp etc

BALANCE


This build is for players that their gameplay adapts more to play safe and have more or less equilibrium. Is also a strong build with great damage.

The UTILITY MASTERIES are for the extra mov speed, mana regen, experience and gold, DON'T understimate them!! These masteries will helps us a LOT in the early/mid lane phase to get the items more faster and have an advantage in level/gold against the enemy!!

The Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed don't give us the extra 15AP but the mov speed is ALWAYS good welcome! So don't be afraid of sacrifice some AP.

The Greater Glyph of Cooldown Reduction are because Cdr on Syndra is very good, as more spheres we have on the field better! and by the way, since we don't have AP quints also makes not too much difference.


UNLEASHED POWER


This is the build to directly delete anyone. Total aggressive! to play this build and success is necessary play with syndra like a master and in team.

Runes and masteries says everything!

Pros

+ Spammable, High damage, quick cast time spell in her Dark Sphere!
+ Three of her four spells can be cast while moving!
+ Can stun multiple targets from a long range with Scatter the Weak
+ Powerful burst upon reaching level 6!
+ Powerful in lane against weak champions!
Cons

- 100% entirely depending on landing Scatter the Weak or Force of Will in order to follow up with more harass or go in for a kill..
- Hard to concentrate and coordinate in TF..
- Easy to burn down with a simple focus..

Items

BALANCE


As I have already explained the Balance build is a mix between high damage, survivability, advantage early phase lane, more experience and more gold.

This build is for players that their gameplay adapts more to play safe and have more or less equilibrium. Is also a strong build with great damage.

The item Catalyst the Protector give us more hp, more mana and on leveling up restores part of them, this help us have a strong lane phase, where is going to be more difficult for the oponent have us weak and susceptible of being ganked. Kage's Lucky Pick give to us ability power and gold.

Now lets see the interactions and how everything beneffits: Catalyst the Protector -> Kage's Lucky Pick -> Greed -> Awareness The early combination of these things give to us a lot more of money and be always 1 or 2 lvls above the enemy. Don't misunderestimate this! Have more lvl and more money can be as advantageous as have more starting AP!

Rod of Ages is an item that gives to us the balance that we search between high damage, HP and Mana we need... this item is a very discussed one, because many people believe this item is only usefull in champions as Singed. In my opinion very good for a balance build, because with all the stacks we have 80AP, 630HP and 650 Mana... nothing bad...

Following this thought... the rest of items are not necessary to explain one by one... but I want to do some comparisons:

In the list are items that are in my build and some others that are not... now look the price of them... if you see my build is also realistic. It is contemplated within the framework of a realistic farm/game time. Is imposible buy 6 items that all cost above 2800k, 3000k... please...

MEDIUM


The medium build is based more in combine Rylai's Crystal Scepter & Liandry's Torment that with Rabadon's Deathcap + Morellonomicon + Void Staff will help us to do a lot more of damage. The only problem of this build can be the mana... depending how fast we need to spam our spells, maybe we see force to change some item for Athene's Unholy Grail.

Also Haunting Guise + Kage's Lucky Pick + Fiendish Codex will give us a decent high AP, mana regen and cdr... but as I said before... the spam of the skills must be done with care...



UNLEASHED POWER


I don't want to talk about this build... because is the classic typical Syndra build, with more or less, with the classic items... Rush Rabadon's Deathcap + Athene's Unholy Grail + Insert what u like

If you still prefeer build complete Damage then you can switch Rylai's Crystal Scepter + Liandry's Torment and buy Void Staff + Zhonya's Hourglass, but better keep your enemies away.. any little focus delete you before press Q. You are 200% dependent of your team and skill.

Runes

BALANCE


Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed For a balance build I find very good movement speed to avoid ganks, move around the map faster, persecution of enemies.. etc.

Greater Glyph of Cooldown Reduction helps to spam better our skills.

Greater Seal of Scaling Mana Regeneration mana regen to complement cdr runes.

Greater Mark of Magic Penetration obviously reason.


MEDIUM


Greater Quintessence of Ability Power AP if we want more damage in early/mid game over movement speed or magic penetration for late game.

Greater Glyph of Scaling Ability Power better than flat in my opinion scale very good.

Greater Seal of Scaling Mana Regeneration mana regen to complement cdr runes.

Greater Mark of Magic Penetration obviously reason.



UNLEASHED POWER



Same reason as above.

I hope you enjoyed my guide and I hope you find it innovative, different and variable... I hope that at least one of the 3 kind of builds adapt to your gameplay style, maybe with luck the all 3 or in the worst of the cases no one hahaha.

I'm open to tips and critics. Like all the guides, items are suscceptibles to be replaced for others if there's something you don't like.... what I mean is: my intention with this guide is not say: "This is the only way", here I just want to share my point of view and my experience with you.
