oh and I forgot one thing I think you should mention but it's like a basic thing about ap's; morellonomicon is a very strong item and fast to build on Syndra when facing a Vladimir or Swain in midlane or if the enemy team has 2 or more healers :). gj anyway

Your guide is just good, I read 2 top rated Syndra guides and both helped me out really well. In terms of itemization I don't think this is the best guide but still, very good (worked for me some item ideas and when to buy this or that, but as games are never the same you don't go the same path every game and must always use your brains so...) and this guide does the job. The combo explanation imo is the strongest part of this guide and I loved how you described it :D. As Syndra allows super creativity I think those basic combos are Syndra's core and must know. Syndra's perfect guide will be a small book so to end, I find this guide just perfect for Syndra starters. Im sending you my scores soon. Hope you keep writing good guides.

Hey, I just wanted to say that I've found this build guide to be very useful. Although I didn't use the ability leveling, or the combo section too much, I found the runes, masteries, and items to be spot on. +1 :3

SgtInvincible, I like the guide. And I like the way you handled comments on it too. So I'm adding one. There is something wrong, I believe, about the scatter the weak (stw) section for when hitting a ball with it.

Two things:
1) The distance the ball then slides is the same if the ball was in the 2/3 of the stw cone nearer to syndra, call it 3.5 units of sliding.
This means if the ball's right on top of you, the ball will end up just that slide distance away from you, or 3.5 units. If it's 2 units away (which seems to be right before where the distance starts truncating, see 2 below) then you get the ball to end up 2 + 3.5 = 5.5 units away from you.

2) There is a cap on the distance it will end at. Hitting a ball anywhere from 2 to 3 (the max reach for stw) units away, the ball will always stop 5.5 units away. Thus only a 2.5 unit slide for a ball at the max distance away from you.

What it means for us syndra players?
Your stun is further reaching if the ball is in the further region of the stw cone
The ball's slide length is longer if the ball is in the nearer region of the stw cone

And I also agree haunting guise makes more sense than large rod, and yes, I did the math on it. :)

The haunting guise is now more viable, due to S3's item: Liandry's Torment. Great guide btw. Loved the humour.

Hey, i just read some of the comments left here. Dont take the negative once to serious i think your guide is great, the grail is great so you can spam your spells instead of saving them, and the mask helped me ALOT against katarina and annie in mid, also if you play careful and defencive, syndra can survive for a long time in mid. Atleast ever since i used this guide i managed to finnaly get some kills, and less deaths ^^. Again great guide and keep up the good work :D
