Introduction

Hello!
Welcome to my
Syndra guide. Syndra is an AP caster, and can throw enemies away :D
Syndras burst damage is incredible, and with her
Unleashed Power she can deal tons of damage, and even more damage, with more dark sphere's on the field.
Syndra is a very fun champ, with her awesome combos, and burst damage, makes her a very nice champion. I will be going through the very important things, because she is very hard to master, so you basically have to learn her in-and-out, to really own with her. She is best when she is at lvl 18, because her
Dark Sphere has a very low cooldown, and that gives you the opportunity to place many dark sphere's on the map, and that makes your
unleshed power deal much more damage.

In my runes, i mix magic resist, cooldown reduction, mana, and ability power together.
Marks
Greater Mark of Magic Resist gives magic resist, and we will need that when we are facing a strong ap caster like
Karthus or
Ahri. The reason why i choose these marks, is because, of the sustain in lane. This gives you a huge sustain, so you dont have to leave your lane due to low health. Buy 9 of those.
Seals
greater seal of replenishmentgreater seal of replenishment
greater seal of replenishment gives me mana, and she needs mana, in early game, because she is very mana hungry, in early game. Her
Dark Sphere uses alot of mana, and thats where the mana problem comes in, but dont spam your Q, when laning.Buy 9 of those
Glyphs
Here i buy 5
Greater Glyph of Ability Power and 4
Greater Glyph of Cooldown Reduction.
Greater Glyph of Ability Power, gives me ability power, and we also need that, for some more spell-damage, in early game.
Greater Glyph of Cooldown Reduction gives me cooldown reduction, and we will need that, for laying more spheres on the field.
Quints
Greater Quintessence of Ability Power gives me a huge amount of ability power, and we need that to make her spells deal more damage. These runes gives 14.85 ability power, when you have bought 3 of them! Buy 3 of those.

Offense Tree
First i take 4 points at
Mental Force
because it gives me ability power, and we need that. Next i take 4 points at
Sorcery
because it gives me cooldown reduction, and makes it easiere to lay more
Dark Spheres on the field. Next i take 1 point at
Arcane Knowledge
because it gives me magic penetration, and that means more damage :D Next i take 4 points at
Blast
because it gives me ability power per level, and we will need that in early game. Next i take 4 points at
Archmage
because it increases my ability power.
Defense Tree
Here i take 3 points at
Resistance
because it gives me magic resist, and
Hardiness
because it gives me armor.
Utility Tree
Here i take 3 points at
Expanded Mind
because it gives me mana per level, and its very good, because
Syndra is a bit mana hungry.
Summoner Spells

Summoner spells, i like to use :3
Flash: The reason i choose
Flash, is because it gives me huge sustain. And
Flash is very good because her movement speed is sooo low.
Ignite: The reason i choose
Ignite, is because it deals true damage, and in some cases, you dont even have to tower dive, to get the kill. I really like
Ignite, because you can just pop it, and then walk away.
Other viable summoner spells
Exhaust is also a great choice for
Syndra, it slows your enemy by 40%, and that gives you the opportunity to lay more sphere's, and go in front of your enemy, and push them back, with
Scatter the Weak and maybe stun them, if they are hit my a
Dark Sphere.
Clarity is a fine choice for
Syndra. It gives you BUNCH of mana, when activated.
Clarity gives you a huge amount of sustain, because you dont have to leave your lane, due to low mana.
Ghost is fine, since
Syndras starting movement speed is 305, and is one of the slowest champion, in league of legends, so ghost is a good choice, and gives you the ability to catch up, and run away from enemies.
Flash is also a great choice, because it can go over walls, and that gives you a very high chance to escape, its also good for catching up with enemies.
Abilities

(passive): Not the best passive in the game, but its great for
Syndra. I try to max out
Dark Sphere because it deals more damage due to
Transcendent.
Each of
Syndras basic abilities gain an extra effect at maximum rank.
(Q spell): I love this ability, its great for last-hitting, and great for poking your enemies. I dont have much to say about this ability, just that its good and max it first.
Mana Cost: 50/60/70/80/90 Mana
Cooldown: 4 sec
Conjures a Dark Sphere at a target location, dealing magic damage. The sphere lasts for up to 6 seconds and can be manipulated by Syndra's other abilities.
Transcendent bonus: Deals 15% bonus damage, to enemy champions
Tips & Tricks
Range of
Dark Sphere:
(W spell): This spell, is good when farming, because it deals tons of damage, and you can just grab a minion, and then throw it on 2 other minions, and then get 3 minion kills! It also funny to play around with the blue buff golem, just throwing it around.
Mana Cost: 60/70/80/90/100 Mana
Cooldown: 12/11/10/9/8 sec.
Grabs a dark sphere, enemy minion or neutral monster. Dragon and Baron Nashor cannot be grabbed by this ability.
Throws the grasped Dark Sphere or enemy at a target area. Enemies struck take magic damage and are slowed for 1.5 second.
Transcendent bonus: Increases the slowing duration to 2 seconds.
Tips & Tricks
Range of
Force of Will:
(E spell): I really love this spell. Its a great escape mechanism. The thing i love about
Scatter the Weak is that, when you push a
Dark Sphere it will stun enemies, in its path, great CC.
Mana Cost: 70/80/90/100/110 Mana
Cooldown: 18/17/16/15/14 sec.
Knocks enemies and Dark Spheres back, dealing magic damage to them and any enemies they collide with. The distance of the knockback increases depending on how close the affected units are to Syndra upon cast. Dark Spheres that are knocked back also stun all enemies in their path for 1.5 seconds.
Transcendent bonus: Spell width increased by 50%.
Tips & Tricks
Range of
Scatter the Weak:
(R spell ULTIMATE): I really like this ability, it deals TONS OF DAMAGE. I like this ability, because it lays down all the sphere's on the field, and with after that you can use
Scatter the Weak(example) for a good AoE stun.
Mana Cost: 100 Mana
Cooldown: 100/90/80 sec.
Draws upon Syndra's full cataclysmic power, harnessing all Dark Spheres to deal magic damage per sphere. This spell has a 3 sphere minimum damage, as Syndra uses the three spheres floating around her. All Dark Spheres remain on the ground for 6 seconds after Unleashed Power is used.

Start off with
Doran's Ring or
Boots of Speed because her starting movement speed, is very very low, but i recommend buying
Doran's Ring because her dark sphere will deal more damage, and makes it easiere to kill your enemies. Next i rush
Ionian Boots of Lucidity because its gives me movement speed and cooldown reduction, and since
Dark Sphere already has a low cooldown, its makes it shortere, and that means, you can lay down more
Dark Sphere around the field.
Can be replaces with
Mercury's Treads Next i rush
Rod of Ages because it gives me health, mana, and ability power, and gives me a huge sustain, due to its passive. Basically what it does is, it restores alot of health and mana, every time you gain a level. Next i buy
Rylai's Crystal Scepter because it gives me ability power, health, and has an awesome passive. What the passive does is, its slows your enemies, when dealing spell damage, that means that
Force of Will will slow more, due to
Rylai's Crystal Scepter.Next i buy
Rabadon's Deathcap because it gives me ability power, and increases my ability power by 30%. Next i buy
Lich Bane because it gives me ability power, magic resistance, and mana, and its also has a great passive, that makes your next basic attack, deal bonus physical damage, equal to 100% of your mana. Next i buy
Archangel's Staff because it gives me ability power, mana, and mana regen. This is a very great item, because its passive, grants ability power, equal to 3% of your maximum mana, and due to
Rod of Agess mana, = more ability. Next i buy
Zhonya's Hourglass because it gives me ability power, and armor, and it also has a great active, that makes you intargetable, and invurneable, but you are unable to take any action.
Skill Combo

Well.. When you reach level 2, you can make a standard combo, just pop
Dark Sphere and then use
Scatter the Weak, and stun your enemies.ยจ
When you reach level 6, you can make a very strong combo with
Unleashed Power. Just pop
Dark Sphere, and then drag the sphere with
Force of Will or grab a minion, and throw it for the slow, and then pop
Unleashed Power and then pop
Scatter the Weak for the stun, and then use
Dark Sphere, and when you dont have your ult ready, just use this combo without your ult.
Gameplay

Gameplay
First of all,
Syndra is hard to master. I have figured out, some great combos, when escaping, farming, pushing, and attacking.
I really really like
Scatter the Weak. It is a great escape mechanism. When running away from an enemy, just pop
Dark Sphere right in front of you, and then use
Scatter the Weak to push AND stun the enemy.
Force of Will is an awesome ability, that deals tons of damage, and grabs a minion, neutral monster or a
Dark Sphere. This spell fits with
Rylai's Crystal Scepter, because
Force of Will slows, and plus rylai's = more slow. When running away just pop
Dark Sphere and then grab it with
Force of Will, and then throw it on the enemy, to slow them.
Force of Will is also great when farming. Just grab a minion, and when you see some minions with low hp, just throw the minion you have grabbed, and you will get the minion kill AND the kill on the minion that you have grabbed.
NOTE:
Dark Sphere lays on the ground for 5 seconds, but if you grab a
Dark Sphere and throw it again, the timer will reset, and the
Dark Sphere will lay down on the ground for 5 more seconds.
Unleashed Power is just awesome. Using
Unleashed Power when you already have 1,2 or 3,
Dark Spheres on the field, makes it deal more damage. The thing i love about
Unleashed Power is that after using
Unleashed Power, it will lay all the dark sphere you used, on the ground, and that makes it very easy for you to do combos and stuff. I like to use
Unleashed Power and then grab one of the sphere's, and then use
Scatter the Weak for the stun, WHILE you have the other
Dark Sphere grabbed, and then just use
Force of Will for the slow. Thats one of the combo's i like.
Force of Will (You want blue buff, huh?, huh? then take it! :D)
Force of Will is also a funny ability, since it can grab a neutral monster, like the blue buff golem, and you can also help you jungler, to counter-jungle. I have tried, when the enemy jungler tried to take their blue, but i grabbed the blue buff, and threw it over the wall, and then killed him, it hella fun! :D
Dark Sphere
Force of Will and
Scatter the Weak are all great when farming. You can start off by using
Dark Sphere and then
Scatter the Weak and then GRAB the
Dark Sphere that you just pushed with
Scatter the Weak and throw it on the minions.
Laning

Laning with Syndra
First of all,
Syndra is hard to master.
When laning, try always to last hit minions,
Dark Sphere is a very good for last-hitting, but you have to learn the range of the spell, so you are 100% sure to hit with it, i have a picture showing the range of
Dark Sphere in my Abilities chapter, go check it out. :)
When laning, dont play too aggressive, try to poke your enemies with
Dark Sphere and then take it from there.
When you reach level 3, you can farm much much better, by using
Dark Sphere and damage the minions, and then push them with
Scatter the Weak, and then again
Dark Sphere = Great farm :)
Summary

Syndra is a very fun champ. She has great combos, and i like the fact, that she is hard to master, like
Twisted Fate(random example).
