Sorry dude, but there are better Lux Guides out there, its very nice to read indeed, but you dont even mention that controverse on Lich Bane, its not perfect for everyone and not perfect for any game perhaps.
And then again, Abyssal Scepter? Wtf? Why?
First of all, Lux isnt close enough to really make this Aura of use everytime, and to mix it with Void Staff is almost silly, since youre lowering the effectiveness of the Void staff doing so, not really lowering your MPen, but its really not to be suggested here.

You could also mention clarity, Lux is mana hungry and doesnt really need any summoner spell imo, not nearly as much as others do.
SheĀ“s constantly out of range for almost everyone including her summoner spells.
IĀ“d suggest flash, cause its just too lame to not take it, and either teleport or clarity, but you could also roll with clarity and teleport, giving you unmatched early game sustain and huge potential for ganks, dragon steals, counter ganks etc.

In case of your masteries, IĀ“d suggest to put that 1 point into "improved recall", 1 second doesnt look like much but some game you know you are recalling quite often(not specificly with Lux, this goes for everyone) and lets say you recall like 20 Times a Game, this saved you 20 Seconds after all, and can also make the difference when enemies are approaching and you manage to recall in the brush just before they come up to you.
While I dont think +0,5% MS does make a difference at all.

Looking this over, i would say that you understand Lux to some point. Your build actually copies mine... Which is funny as hell... Disturbing almost o_O You need to explain alot more on this guide, it makes me sad because of the lack of detail. You just have alot of fluff around, from what i read. Nothing really on the "how" or the "why" I'm really not liking your guide just because it has no real content :/. I would archive this guide and remake it really. Add more content and then release it, or make a new Lux guide Altogether. You know your lux it seems... but you don't have a solid guide :/. Srry to say

Hey,

I am a reviwer from JhoiJhoi's Review Shop. I would like a comment on my Kennen guide and a +rep if possible

Really nice job, the lay-out is fairly nice.

Now, the runes there is an issue. Greater Glyph of Ability Power is nice and all early game, but Greater Glyph of Scaling Ability Power is just plain right better. Also, for glyphs, I would reccomend Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist over AP Glyphs.

And your iteming order, I fairly disagree. Boots of Ludicity is nice and all, but Sorcerer's Shoes is much better, you have no Magic Pen till Void Staff, all your enemy has to do is get Mercury's Treads and they will barely take any damage from you combined with the fact most ap mid also get Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist as their Glyphs. Not too sure about this, but getting Zhonya's is probably more important than Void Staff.

That's all I have to say. Remember to check out my guide. Will vote up as soon as you reply.

Thanks,
Vitigam

Hello, I'm reviewing your guide because of your request for a review at jhoijhoi's trading shop. I'd like a comment/review on my guide or a +rep for my review. Thanks.

Like I've seen a few others point this out as well, but you probably should add a sixth item to your cheat sheet. It will make readers feel like there is a complete build.

Skittle Yummy Pros :D, such an awesome name. You have very creative chapter titles, I like that.

Runes I have a problem with. I understand that flat AP glyphs are useful for first blood, but AP/lvl are just so much stronger. Over 3 times stronger at level 18. Also, Greater Glyph of Magic Resist and Greater Seal of Scaling Mana Regeneration are choices. Add them as other viable runes, and you'll be good.

Items are probably the most complicated decisions you ever have to make in LoL. Thus, you better have good choices!

Since you don't get Void Staff until your 4th item, I recommend Sorcerer's Shoes. As the AP carry, you should be given pretty much eery blue buff after the first one. Thus, making Ionian Boots of Lucidity not that great.

That early of a Lich Bane is kind of counterproductive, as it only adds about 200 damage to your auto attacks. Fitting it in when you have 400 AP on the other hand, makes more sense.

Since you are going to be having blue buff most of the match anyways, it makes sense to buy a Morello's Evil Tome. It gives you everything you need, CDR, Mana regen, and AP.

Abyssal Mask is not an option in my book. Most of the time as Lux you should be casting your spells from nearly max range, which means that you usually aren't close enough for the aura to take effect.

It's fairly aesthetically pleasing, as it has a nice amount of pictures and the paragraphical space is good too. I do have a problem though. Color is good. Too much color or color switching + bold letters + capitalized words is strenuous on the eyes. Try to tone it down a little bit with the capitalized words and color switching. If we forget about that, you have a great use for color and pictures, and it's very pleasant to read.

I won't vote until I hear a reply, but so far, it looks good. I'd like to see some more work done on the guide, as it looks like it will be amazing when finished.

Hi, I'm reviewing your guide based upon your request for a trade at jhoijhoi's review shop. In exchange for my review I'd appreciate either a comment on my own guide or +rep. I may appear captious at parts of my review but in the end of the day I just intend to give constructive criticism as to improve the quality of the guide.

Quite some sound advice within this guide given in a attractive package and fantastic formatting. Suggestions for future chapters would be team-fights and late-game (which I suspect will come up anyway). I'll refrain from voting till the cheat sheet build is complete, but from what I've seen so far I'm defiantly liking the guide.

Masteries

Standard substantially correct AP mastery build, although I would make a bullet point note on Summoner's Wrath as to make extra clear to only take when picking up Ignite and to simply go 4/4 Mental Force if for whatever reason you didn't pick Ignite.

Runes

Should include some more options outside of that of what you use as some may not have access to said runes or would look for alternatives. Greater Glyph of Scaling Ability Power out-scale Greater Glyph of Ability Power post-6 and considering you'll be playing solo mid you'll reach 6 at a reasonably fast rate thus it being the better choice for an AP carry as some have said before me. I reckon Greater Seal of Scaling Mana Regeneration should be given acknowledgment as you could choose to mix a combination with Greater Seal of Replenishment as to gain a steady flow, or just go outright with the scaling ones as to have a better efficiency later on to be able to spam spells with no consequences (blue buff regen has been nerfed and she is one of the most mana hungry champions in the game). There is always the defensive option of Greater Glyph of Magic Resist if confronting a difficult match-up.

Core Items

I see little to no reason as to why you should get Ionian Boots of Lucidity never-mind consider it a core item, you can easily achieve almost the cooldown cap without them through blue buff + Sorcery + Elixir of Brilliance you reach 34% (6% away from the cap). It is a misuse of stats (and to a point money) as your just going to be going over the cap putting the extra CDR to no use. The more potent damage from Sorcerer's Shoes are superior as it grants flat magic penetration, combined with your marks it makes you capable of dealing true damage to these without magic resist items/runes (which consists of a lot of AP mid opponents).

Mention again how her passive works in correlation with Lich Bane to aid justifying it as a core item (I don't disagree with Lich Bane being a core item just that for these who may doubt it extra explanation should serve well).

Other Items (Situational)

Will of the Ancients may be considered a situational pick if you have a AP top (such as Rumble or Swain) and wish to stack double auras.

Aesthetics

As said presentation wise it is almost flawless with great appropriate color coding of text and correctly placed images. I say almost since the one hiccup I have is the azul colored paragraph at the introduction which seems really out of place and not so desirable towards the eye.

+ Colorful, but not annoying

- AP/lvl Glyphs > AP Glyphs
- You should add 6 items to your cheat sheet (you can sell the Doran's Ring and buy something else)
- Try to make use of columns
- Needs more in-depth, but you wrote that you are not finished, so yeah :P

Let me know when you are finished, since it is not I will not give a rating either. However you could consider adding sections on mid game, late game, teamfights, ganks from jungler, ganking other lanes, etc.

Positives:
+Your "Cheat Sheet" is solid!
+Good build that works wonders on a "Double-Tap"/ ability -> basic attack champion.
+Great section headers, they compliment your guide very well.
+Nice use of color coordination with abilities and items.

Possibilities:
~Yes, Lux is all about light and color, but to some degree you need to limit all that color (even on the Lux guides)
~You could really use some more "How-to" sections to your guide. Try not to create a guide for the sole purpose of justifying your item selection.
~Try and add some more sections. It seems like you are missing a lot of basic information when it comes to actually playing Lux.
~It looks like you are over-using your line separators.

Negatives:
-Since I just mentioned line separators... Give credit to the person who made them, same goes for your Section headers.
-Please! Please! Please! Cut down on all that Bold text. It's killing me lol.
-You talked about core items, share why you selected the other items as well. The biggest question that most guides fail to answer is "WHY?"

When you have made some vaild changes to your guide, pm me and I will return and leave a final vote.

If this has helped you please +Rep me
