Tradtrad, first thank you for reviewing my guide. In regards to your opinions on my guide:
  • Quoted:
a lot of wasted runes by taking attack speed, this is mainly due to the fact that his Q is an aa reset and you can easily get 3 stacks

    -

While I am still working on what is best as far as runes for him, I have noticed by doing this I am able to simply attack the target and still get my stun off. I am also able after the fight to Devour the subject, and thus I am able to take the target out of the fight for 5 seconds vs. 3 seconds at max level. You may have also noticed that I offered additional options for runes including replacing the attack speed more for standard and well known runes.

  • Quoted:
tends to fall off late game where your auto attacks will have even less of an impact so yet again the runes are wasted

    -

If you could be more specific about where and how he falls off I would appreciate the input, I found that my main role in choosing this champion is defense of my team. If my ADC gets jumped for instance, I can Devour them for up to 6 seconds, and if I don't waste Tongue Lash I can stun them as my ADC jumps out and begins to kill them. On top of this your getting 22% attack speed which is the same as getting a Zeal in that respect. I will reconsider my runes though and see if there are any I feel will be better suited for him.

  • Quoted:
your overall build is quite expensive

    -

As far as I have found the majority of these items are pretty standard in regards to tank supports. The only difference mainly being the Spirit Visage or Banshee's Veil that I prefer being switched with Turbo Chemtank. This is a 250 gold difference in price and also the last item in the build. A difference between 12,750 gold (your guide) and 13,000 gold (my guide), I would hardly consider that an exorbitant amount.

  • Quoted:
Taking 21 in defense makes you pass up on a lot of useful things in the utility tree such as bonus gold and movement speed

    -

If you would take note, my guide actually recommends a 0/27/3 approach. This allows you to still maintain the 1.5% movement speed from Fleet of Foot . The bonus gold you mention CANNOT be attained with only 9 points (you only get .5 gold every 10 seconds from Greed which is hardly worth the point), you would have to use a minimum of 13-14 points depending if your also regarding Wealth .

  • Quoted:
Also don't downvote the top guide just to boost yours

    -

I will admit your final comment unnerved me a bit, but I realized you were merely upset about your downvote. However, if you will notice your guide was downvoted on 19JUL2015, my guide was not even published until 21JUL2015. I stated that I had downvoted it because of useless information such as Lore, Wiki Screenshots and questionable matchup assessment. When you have addressed these items I would be happy to revist your guide. However, 267,000 views and only 4 upvotes should tell you something about your guides quality.

Thanks again for reading my guide, and I appreciate the valuable input you have added to my guide.

There are a lot of wasted runes by taking attack speed, this is mainly due to the fact that his Q is an aa reset and you can easily get 3 stacks on the enemy due to the duration of the debuff, also your overall build is quite expensive for a support so it will be hard to acquire the required items early enough, and he tends to fall off late game where your auto attacks will have even less of an impact so yet again the runes are wasted. Taking 21 in defense makes you pass up on a lot of useful things in the utility tree such as bonus gold and movement speed, but I can see how it could help you in the late game. Also don't downvote the top guide just to boost yours.

Thank you for reviewing my guide Emoriam. I really appreciate you taking the time, and credited you with the changes.

I've addressed a number of your concerns in the guide. I'll be working on the runes, I'm looking thru other guides for the best way to display them. I was attempting for a bit flashier guide and less clutter with the spoilers for the items.

I've also seen people maxing Devour, I'll mention it as an option, however, personally I think the 20% extra slow is more valuable when added to the lower cooldown. They both gain the the same 200 damage, however in that regard the Tongue Lash is less mana.

Once again thanks for the tips ^^-b.

Your requested review!

Guide Structure and uniformity
  • You should display a Vision Ward and maybe even an Elixir in the item set
  • The guide's structure is decent yet you're missing information on crucial things such as summoner spells, gameplay and warding

Readability and visualization

  • I recommend you to put the "Tips and Tricks" to each respective ability description instead
  • You don't need to hide the information on items in spoilers; what about using columns instead?
  • I couldn't notice any major errors concerning language, choice of words and grammar

Viability of provided information

  • When being able to afford Sightstone on your first back it's the optimal item to purchase first
  • You should also think about items like Mikael's Blessing, Mobility Boots, Banshee's Veil and Frozen Heart as possible options; keep in mind that item purchases on supports are supposed to be as gold efficient as possible and that any items helping out with gaining / controlling vision are high prority bargains
  • I'm not an expert on Tahm Kench but I've seen Devour commonly being maxed first instead
  • 0/21/9 masteries are definitely worth mentioning
  • One simple alternative rune page would look like this: Greater Mark of Hybrid Penetration / ; you should probably show it somewhere because just showing alternative runes without context might be confusing to some readers
  • As already mentioned before I think adding content about summoner spells ( Ignite as an alternative), ability usage (e.g. the correct usage of Devour), gameplay (stages of the game, objective control and laning phase tactics such as freezing) and warding (frequent purchase of Vision Wards, warding spots and ward clearing)

I hope my review was somewhat helpful. The main issue concerning your guide is the overall lack of content and more in-depth explanations. Feel free to ask me any types of questions!
