Tahm Kench Build
Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
As we all know Tahm is OP and pretty much perma ban, but if you do get him I think this build is really strong. Atleast in some matchups, mostly vs tanks like Shen, Malph etc.
I probably wouldnt go with Smite against high dmg champs like Riven etc.
I recently pickd Tahm up as a toplane champ, and I quickly felt like TP wasnt very usefull. (Since you got the ulti and his TP engage isnt that strong)
And as we all know, Cinderhulk is great on Tahm because of the synergy with his ulti and (E). Skirmishers also gets you allot more dmg and added tankiness.
Also doing a camp in lvl 1 is pretty nice. I only tried this build on Red side, doing Krugs. I dont think doing Gromp is good, so I would recommend only using this build when you are Red side. Or you can ask your jungler to start top side and smite for him.
Runes and Masteries
My choice of runes and masteries is pretty much based on me wanting to do Krugs lvl 1.
(AS and armor runes + some flat CDR so u can (W) twice)
There are lots of good items for Tahm, but I really like Iceborn Gauntlet atm. so I think thats core, along with Spirit Visage.
The thing I actually like the most about going smite, is that you get to build cinderhulk and thereby dont need Sunfire cape. I have never been a fan of Sunfire cape, since the scaling is quite poor and it really doesnt offer much unless you get it really early.
This will be all for now, I might add some more chapters after testing some more.
Tbh I only tried this twice, but I did hard carry both games. And thats in ca. dia 3 elo.
