Don't really like it.

1. Stating who is or is not a good mid is bad unless you both to explain the match-ups.
I have seen a Nasus, Soraka, and a Taric go mid before against various other match-ups including against Heimerdingers and Vlads.
They won, and hard. It's all about play style.

2. Stating who are the top Mid-champions is also really bad, as again, it's all about the match-ups.

3. Essentially, I think this guide entirely misses the point of doing well in mid.

Understanding the Match-ups.
Winning mid is not about knowing what to do, it's knowing who to send to hard counter the enemy's mid, to cripple their chances.

4. Overall, it doesn't seem like you've played every single champion in mid. This seems like a patch-work of general knowledge on topics that require specialized mastery to comment on.

That's my devil's advocate comment for today~

You added Katatina to great mid champs, and not to "best"... As a non-stop Katarina player I must say that she is the best mid champ ever, so shame on you! :P

Awesome Guide. I want to add add some tips with Karth though since I main him. Whenever a Karth goes mid, check his items at the start. Usually most Karthus' go for a Sapphire Crystal or Meki Pendant but if they don't then consider this as an advantage since their harassing power has been greatly diminished. Also, Boots of Speed can really help with a lot of Karthus players but there are a couple who can take this as to their own advantage as well. If they know how to place LW and predict movement then the enhanced speed can be useless. It's also possible that you'll be harassed faster. Finally, Magic Resist is definitely the best counter for Karthus especially at mid but take note that thay may also know this and if they see you stacking mr, they may compromise. Remember there are cheap Magic Pen items that also increase damage. Anyway just wanted to let you know so you can think of even more counters :D

Jun, with full respect, but I think you didn't get to the part when I said it's based on the opinion of many people, not just mine's. I haven't played each champion, thou I have played almost against each champion, with really some exceptions like Garen or Trynda. Notice that your team usually is *****y and from my expierence everyone wanna take champions that like mid and are just eager for it. Not that often someone simply wishes for a tank or supporter, when I play, that's why countering someone on Solo games is situational, very.

Eh, really. As I said again, I'm not a God and can't tell whether someone's Pro with champion and can screw Malzahar with Tryndamere on Mid. I didn't state them because "Oh, they really suck" reason but it was discussed with random people after each game and believe me, out of 10 players maybe 2-3 responded with sense, charm of EU X) If it entirely misses the point, then I really don't know why I'm doing so well on Mid by simply sticking to everything I wrote here:P

Anyway, thanks for an opinion, I don't like negative ones, but they are necesarry, I must get slapped at least once to get it better:P

dont like it, malzahar and anivia are way better at mid then vlad, malz can silence too even whole teams and ranged dps are a pain for vlad (mf, cait) for example WW can also be played mid even malphite can be played and akali is good at mid too + she will rape and outburst most people at lvl 6
