Hello! Toremm's the name and I'm really pleased that you are reading this right now. But I'm sure that you are asking "What am I doing here?" Well I got your answer. You are here because of her:
Let me introduce you to Fiora, the Grand Duelist
Fiora was the first character I bought and is one of my favourites. She is a great carry, an outstanding laner, a good jungler, but the most important thing, I always have a good time when I play with her. If you got 6300 IP or 975 RP, I recommend you to buy this champion. Trust me, YOU WON'T REGRET IT!
So, are we ready to begin?
NOTE: ENGLISH IS NOT MY MAIN LANGUAGE SO PLEASE UNDERSTAND IF I HAVE SOME MISTAKES
Let's take a look at Fiora. It's very important to know the pros and the cons of any champion you are gonna use.
A lot of AD
Great Attack Speed
Great Movement Speed
Easy to gank with
An OP ult.
Good at farming/jungling
Can keep the lane easily
Great at 1v1
Focused on teamfights
Life Steal dependant
Can be killed easily if stunned
Doesn't have a reliable mechanism of escape
Hard to master
As you can see, her strong points are related to her ability to chase and her incredible Attack Damage and her Attack Speed, while her weaknesses are related to her lack of Health, Armor and Magic Resistance and low Health Regeneration. Now that we know what are we using we can think her general gameplay. She is not supposse to take damage, or face more than one enemy (except if she has her build full and she is fed, but except that situation is not good to let her 1v3 or 1v4), but she is very strong ambushing and fighting 1v1.
Full AD or Tanky DPS?
You are decided that you want to use Fiora and your other teammates are chosing their champions. You can start thinking what kind of Fiora do you want to use. There are Two main types: Full AD and Tanky DPS. I am going to explain each build, so you can know what you should use in each situation
Full AD: This is the normal build for Fiora. With this combination of Runes, Masteries and Items, you can deal way more damage, faster and with higher chances of dealing Critical Strikes. You should use this build if in your team there are at least two tanks or tanky champions, since you'll be needed to deal damage and kill, instead of absorbing it. Alistar Blitzcrank Vladimir Caitlyn, in this team, for example, you'll be needed as an AD Carry, so you should take this build.
Tanky DPS: Although you won't be as agressive with this build as you were with the previous one, this will allow Fiora to have a good Armor and Magic Resistance and still a decent amount of AD. You should use this build if there are not tanks or tanky champions and there are way too many AD Carries. Tryndamere Master Yi Akali Karthus, in this team, for example, it is more needed a tank than another AD Carry, so you can play with a DP Fiora who still can deal a decent amount of damage.
Now let's suppose that you had chosen to build a Tanky DPS Fiora, so you had chosen her Masteries and Runes, but the enemy team doesn't have tanks or tanky champions, just like yours. If this is the case, I reccommend you to build a Full AD Fiora. Don't worry about your Masteries and Runes, they won't make big differences if you chosen them for Tanky DPS and want to build Full AD, and viceversa.
We already know the Pros and the Cons of Fiora, so we can start thinking about her Masteries, Runes and Summoner Spells. Let's begin with the Masteries. Depending if you are Tanky DPS or Full AD you shall have different Mastery Trees, but they aren't so different one from another.
These are the Masteries for Full AD Fiora
These are the Masteries for Tanky DPS Fiora
I like these combination of Masteries because they add a good amount of damage to my Fiora. With Brute Force , Alacrity , Weapon Expertise , Deadliness , Lethality and Sunder , I can increase Fiora's AD and Attack Speed, adding Armor Penetration. Executioner lets me kill more easily enemy champions, minons and monsters, it's a great help, and Vampirism adds Life Steal, which is very important for Fiora. The defensive Masteries are for adding some DP, specially in the Early Game.
I chose Summoner's Wrath over Summoner's Insight because I think that a more powerfull Exhaust or Ignite is more useful than a quicker cooldown Flash.
The only difference is that I chose Havoc for Full AD Fiora and Veteran's Scars for Tanky DPS Fiora. The first adds some additional damage and the second one is for make her a little bit tankier.
The other Masteries are not very viable. The only ones yo could chose are Butcher , for jungling, and Demolitionist , to take down turrets. If you want these, take some points from Durability , Resistance or Hardiness . You could also take Vigor or Tough Skin instead of Durability . If you know you have dificulties with mana, try to replace the Defense Masteries for Expanded Mind and Meditation
Let's pass to the Runes, a vital part of any champion, including Fiora. These are the combinations of runes I reccomend
Greater Mark of Lethality
Greater Seal of Armor
Greater Glyph of Magic Resist
Greater Quintessence of Lethality
This combination of runes add a good amount of Armor Penetration, Armor and Magic Resistance. I chose Armor Penetration instead of Attack Damage, because I think that I can make more AD with the Items, while is not that easy with Armor Penetration. I also prefer Armor over Armor per level, because I think that +12 Armor in the Early Game is more useful than +24 Armor in the Late Game.
OTHER VIABLE MARKS
Greater Mark of Critical Damage: This Mark is quite good, but to make it really usefull, you should rush Infinity Edge, which I don't reccommend you to do, because it's not very important to Fiora as The Bloodthirster or Frozen Mallet could be.
Greater Mark of Critical Chance: A good Mark, specially if you pick 5 of these and four Greater Mark of Critical Damage, but then again you should rush Infinity Edge to release their whole potential.
Greater Mark of Scaling Attack Damage: An excellent choice, but as I already said, I prefer Armor Penetration over AD since I can get this from items, while the other is more difficult to get from them.
Greater Mark of Attack Damage: An excellent choice, but as I already said, I prefer Armor Penetration over AD since I can get this from items, while the other is more difficult to get from them.
OTHER VIABLE SEALS
Greater Seal of Evasion: No particular reason to not pick this Seal. Personally, I like more the Armor bonus, but this should work good too.
Greater Seal of Health: This Seal will help you in the Early Game a lot, adding you 48 Health. Works good if you picked Veteran's Scars .
Greater seal of vigor: A good choice, specially with a Tanky DPS Fiora. Works good with Vigor .
Greater seal of regeneration: A good choice, specially with a Tanky DPS Fiora. Works good with Vigor .
Greater Seal of Magic Resist: If you feel you don't have enough Magic Resistance or if you know that you are facing a lot of AP carries, this Seal will help you out a lot.
Greater Seal of Attack Speed: If you don't mind being squishy and you prefer the most AD and Attack Speed you could have, then you can pick this Seal.
Greater Seal of Scaling Attack Damage: If you don't mind being squishy and you prefer the most AD and Attack Speed you could have, then you can pick this Seal.
Greater Seal of Attack Damage: If you don't mind being squishy and you prefer the most AD and Attack Speed you could have, then you can pick this Seal.
Greater Seal of Mana: If you know that you have problems with mana because you spam a lot, pick this Seal to counter that.
Greater Seal of Cooldown Reduction: This is a great choice. It will allow you to use your skills more quickly. Very usefull for Riposte and Blade Waltz.
OTHER VIABLE GLYPHS
Greater Glyph of Health: This Seal will help you in the Early Game a lot, adding you 48 Health. Works good if you picked Veteran's Scars .
Greater glyph of vigor: A good choice, specially with a Tanky DPS Fiora. Works good with Vigor .
Greater Glyph of Armor: Pick this if you think you don't have enough Armor or if you know you are facing a lot of AD carries.
Greater Glyph of Attack Speed: If you don't mind being squishy and you prefer the most AD and Attack Speed you could have, then you can pick this Seal.
Greater Glyph of Scaling Attack Damage: I prefer the Greater Glyph of Attack Speed over this, since I can get AD from items more easily, but if you want the highest AD chose this.
Greater Glyph of Attack Damage: I prefer the Greater Glyph of Attack Speed over this, since I can get AD from items more easily, but if you want the highest AD chose this.
Greater Glyph of Cooldown Reduction: This is a great choice. It will allow you to use your skills more quickly. Very usefull for Riposte and Blade Waltz.
OTHER VIABLE QUINTESSENCES
Greater Quintessence of Critical Damage: This Rune is quite good, but to make it really usefull, you should rush Infinity Edge, which I don't reccommend you to do, because it's not very important to Fiora as The Bloodthirster or Frozen Mallet could be.
Greater Quintessence of Critical Chance: A good Mark, specially if you pick 2 of these and Greater Quintessence of Critical Damage, but then again you should rush Infinity Edge to release their whole potential.
Greater Quintessence of Scaling Attack Damage: An excellent choice, but as I already said, I prefer Armor Penetration over AD since I can get this from items, while the other is more difficult to get from them.
Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage: An excellent choice, but as I already said, I prefer Armor Penetration over AD since I can get this from items, while the other is more difficult to get from them.
Greater Quintessence of Life Steal: Life Steal is very important for Fiora, specially if you are not very good with her, so this Rune would be a great choice.
Other Runes are not very viable for Fiora. I don't reccommend you to pick them.
The Summoner Spells are VERY important. They are like two more skills you have, and they are very powerfull. Next I'll explain Fiora's viable spells and those which are not very viable.
VERY VIABLE SPELLS
This spell is probably the most important for Fiora since she doesn't have natural CC skills. It slows down the target Movement Speed by 40%, it's AD by 70%, the damage it deals with skills and items by 35%, and if you have Summoner's Wrath it's Armor and Magic Resistance by 10%. In most of the cases, this spell will allow you to chase easily the opponent or to run away from it easily, too. In 1v1 fights, use this if the battle is tied and you want to turn things to your favour. It's pretty useless in teamfights, but you can give it some use if you have to escape.
This Spell is a MUST BE with Fiora. It doesn't matter what is your other Spell, but this Spell HAS to be chosen. It teleports your champion towards your cursor location. This Spell will allow you to chase enemies, even if you have been slowed down, and to escape from them too. You can use it to go over walls and through trees, a very effective way to confuse your enemies and escape. It can grant you easy kills too, by using it you can last hit an enemy that's trying to run away with 50 HP.
OTHER VIABLE SPELLS
Many people like the combination Flash+ Ignite for Fiora for many reasons. First of all, it's very useful in the Early Game to drew First Blood and finish enemies. Secondly, if you are forced to hug, you can use this to finish an enemy wounded by a turret. Finnally, if you are using a Tanky DPS Fiora it'll add you some damage. However, I prefer Exhaust since it can help me during the whole game, while Ignite becomes a little useless during the Late Game.
There's not much to say about this Spell. If it happens that you are the jungler, it'll help you A LOT, but don't pick it if you are going to be in the lane because it will be completely useless. Try to use it to steal Baron or Dragon, that'll hurt the enemy team.
There are some people that think that this Spell is better for Fiora than Flash. I think this is a great Spell because it gives you movement speed and you are allowed to ignore unit collision, so you can both chase and escape easily, but I prefer Flash because it can't be countered by slowing effects, I can go through walls and trees, and I am away from any damage for an instant (this can save your life, trust me).
I am not a fan of this Spell but I recognize that it can be a good help in the Early Game, specially for a Tanky DPS Fiora. I don't chose it, however, because in the Mid Game and Late Game it is quite useless, since it doesn't heal that much. But it can save your life sometimes.
Since most of the debuffs can shut down Fiora, this spell is a great choice if the enemy has a lot of CC champions. I don't pick it, however, because it's cooldown is too long for the effect of the Spell.
If you are new with Fiora and you have problems to keep the lane or with your mana, chose this Spell. It will help you a lot during the whole game, specially while laning and during the Early Game. When you get more experienced, you can chose another Spell instead of this.
NON VIABLE SPELLS
Maybe in the Early Game you'll have some mana troubles, but you can counter them with some runes or buying Mana Potion. From level 6, you won't have mana trouble. So this Spell is useless and takes space for other spells which are better.
This is not a bad spell, but with your Burst of Speed you won't need it since you'll be able to both farm and destroy turrets relative easily, a powerfull minion wouldn't be useful and you'd be wasting space for a good Spell.
You won't need any AP because Riposte is your only skill that deals magic damage and it's a defensive skill. Besides you already got Burst of Speed to have extra Attack Speed. This Spell is useless.
This spell is chosen only by supports not by the AD Carry. You'll need other Spells and you'd be taking valuable space with something that, in your case, is absolutely useless.
The most stupid and useless Spell EVER. You have to die to use it and that's not the objective in LoL. Besides is like think "I'm sure I'll die, so I will chose this.", that way you will die FOR SURE. Finally, it's cooldown is TOO long. If it was shorter I would think about it but 540 seconds for an after-death Spell is way TOO MUCH.
Skills & Sequence
Now the game has started and we have to begin with Fiora's skill sequence. First of all, let's see what we have.
This is her passive and with it your health regenerates while you are fighting. This is very useful for laning, juungling and in 1v1, and if you have a good Life Steal (which you'll have) you shouldn't be worried about your wounds since you'll be regenerating them so fast.
This skill allows Fiora to dash against an enemy champion, monster or minion, dealing damage to it. It can be casted twice in 4 seconds for the mana cost of one. One hell of skill. With this you can initiate really good and surprise the enemy, since it has a long range. You can also use it to chase the enemies or to escape through enemy minions.
This skill adds bonus AD always. When activated, Fiora parries the next basic attack or skill that deals on-hit effect from a monster, big minion or enemy champion, dealing damage to the enemy. Great skill. The AD bonus is really helpfull and the parry is great too. In 1v1, you can use it to protect yourself and cause damage at the same time. This is really helpfull against Gangplank's Parrrley, Miss Fortune's Double Up, Vayne's Silver Bolts, Kog'Maw's Living Artillery, etc.
This skill increases Fiora's Attack Speed and when she hits, she gains additional Movement Speed. This skill is your main for fighting. First of all, don't be afraid of using it to farm or take down turrets. When fighting 1v1, this will give you a great advantage over the enemy. The movement speed can help you to chase or escape and it activates not just when you hit, but also when you use Lunge. With the sequence Lunge--> Burst of Speed--> Lunge you can gank really easy, and you can save your last Lunge to chase the opponent. Remember that this is your main harass combo.
Fiora dashes quickly around the battlefield to strike enemy champions 5 times. As I said in the beginning ONE OP ULT. This skill makes Fiora the dreamed carry. In 1v1, you will deal a lot of damage to the enemy since the 5 attacks will go just to him, besides when you use this skill you are untargetable so the enemy won't be allowed to attack you or to use his skills on you. In teamfights, although the enemies will recibe less damage, they will still get hurt, and you can use it if you are focused and want the enemy to go after someone else (teamwork!). There are some points, however, that you must understand. First of all, this skill is not an initiator, so use it to finish the enemies. Secondly, is impossible to escape from it, doesn't matter if the objective uses Flash or anything like it Fiora will always hit, and this means that she will also appear besides of him, WATCH OUT TO NOT APPEAR NEXT TO A TURRET OR IN THE MIDDLE OF THE ENEMY TEAM. Use Burst of Speed before this so you can have bonus Movement Speed when you have finished, to both escape or chase.
For Full AD Fiora I use this sequence
The first skill I maximize is Burst of Speed. It is my main skill for fighting specially in 1v1 and that's what the Full AD Carry does. I go for Riposte then to get the bonus AD and I finish with Lunge since it is just a ganking skill. Remember that you must have the three skills for lvl 3. If not, you are doing something wrong.
For Tanky DPS Fiora I use this sequence Riposte so I can maximize AD quickly. This is very important since the items won't grant such an AD like with Full AD Fiora.
I maximize Burst of Speed then so I can have the best 1v1 combination. Finnally, I maximize Lunge at the end since it is a ganking skill that doesn't deal a lot of damage. Remember to have these three skills for lvl 3.
ALWAYS CHOSE Blade Waltz IF POSSIBLE. THE SHORTER COOLDOWN AND THE BETTER DAMAGE WILL MAKE YOUR GAME EASIER.
Core Items Full AD
Now I will list the items that make your Core for Full AD Fiora and the order you should purchase them.
Your starting items will be these: Boots of Speed and 3 Health Potion. You are the AD Carry, this means that you are squishy and you must takedown the enemies. The Health Potion will allow you to keep the lane without Recalling (if you have chosen Teleport you won't need them) and the Boots of Speed will help you to get into and out of the battle, and also to chase a wounded enemy or to escape.
EARLY GAME ITEMS (1)
Now will proceed to get AD and Life Steal. Life Steal is very important for Fiora since she must survive (and win) 1v1 fights and she doesn't have a good Health Regenaration. So as I always say, if you can't regenerate life, STEAL IT! The Doran's Blades and the Vampiric Scepter will grant you 16% Life Steal that will become 19% with your Vampirism . The combination of Doran's Blade and Dagger will help you during the 1v1 fights against AD Carries.
EARLY GAME ITEMS (2)
We'll get the Berserker's Greaves so we finish our boots. Then we will get the B. F. Sword to have a good extra AD and to get The Bloodthirster. The Bloodthirster is your most important item. It grants you +60 AD and 12% Life Steal, and if charged it will grant you +100 AD and 20% Life Steal (HELL YEAH!). Once you have it, start farming or jungling so you can have it's full potential, and do it every time you respawn.
MID GAME ITEMS (1)
Now that we have AD and Life Steal, we need a good Attack Speed. That's why we will build The Black Cleaver since it doesn't gives us just Attack Speed but also AD and Armor Penetration. Star with the Dagger and then go for the B. F. Sword.
NOTE: The reason I chose The Black Cleaver before Phantom Dancer is because I can have extra Attack Speed and Movement Speed with Burst of Speed so I need some AD and Armor Penetration.
MID GAME ITEMS (2)
The only thing that Fiora doesn't have to be the perfect AD Carry is a CC skill, so we will get Phage. In order to do this, purchase Ruby Crystal and then you can have your Phage. We have a lot of AD right now so we need some Attack Speed in order to deal the highest damage. Sell one of your Doran's Blades and get the Zeal.
LATE GAME ITEMS (1)
The CC we have is good, but it can be MUCH better. That's why we will build Frozen Mallet. Sell the other Doran's Blade and purchase Giant's Belt, so you can then buy Frozen Mallet. We want now to have Critical Strike, so we will purchase Cloak of Agility, with our Zeal the Critical Strike will be great.
LATE GAME ITEMS (2)
You'll have to purchase these items in rarely cases. Usually the matches don't overexten this much. But if it is the case, we will begin adding more Attack Speed to have the max we can. Get Phantom Dancer now. The only thing we are missing is the MUST HAVE of any AD Carry: the Infinity Edge. Purchase B. F. Sword and the you can have your Infinity Edge.
Your build is now complete so GET OUT THERE AND TAKE THE S*** OUT OF YOUR ENEMIES!
Situational Items Full AD
If you are new with Fiora you may have problems to survive or maybe you are getting focused a lot in teamfights. Replace your Phantom Dancer with this item but build it as your last item (you are still and AD Carry). The bonus Magic Resistance and Armor are a great help and the passive can take you out of difficult situations or help you to win a 1v1. Watch for the cooldown though.
It can happen that the enemy AP Carry is really fed, so you might go for Magic Resistance. Instead of Phantom Dancer build this, but build it as your last item. It will give not just Magic Resistance, but also a great Movement Speed bonus and Health Regeneration.
If the enemy AD Carry is fed like a lot, get this item to face him instead of Phantom Dancer, but don't rush it leave it as your last item. The bonus Mana is quite useless with Fiora but +99 Armor is great, and the passives will help you during the whole match too.
Maybe the Force of Nature is not enough to face the fed AP Carry, so get this instead of The Black Cleaver. The passive will take you out of difficlt situations, for example shielding you from Karthus' Requiem.
If you can't win the 1v1 against the fed AD Carry, even with Frozen Heart get this item instead of The Black Cleaver. You will still have a good amount of AD and you will also have a bonus Armor that will help you a lot.
It can happen that the enemy team is really tanky and your The Black Cleaver is not enough to break their armor, so get Last Whisper instead of Frozen Mallet (if they are really tanky the CC is not so needed) so you can ignore 40% of their Armor, and then 45 more points with The Black Cleaver.
If the enemy team is way too tank and your Last Whisper and The Black Cleaver are not enough, go for this instead of Phantom Dancer. The Armor Penetration, the Critical Strike, the Cooldown Reduction and the passive are great to deal a huge damge and take down the enemy quick.
Core Items Tanky DPS
Now I will list the items that make your Core for Tanky DPS Fiora and the order you should purchase them.
To start, we will pick Cloth Armor to add some defense to our tanky Fiora. We will need to keep the lane too so unless we have chosen Teleport, we will purchase 5 Health Potions. This combination won't allow us to chase but it will allow us to remain in combat more time and to keep the lane easily, specially facing AD Carries.
EARLY GAME ITEMS (1)
To continue with, we will add some Movement Speed by purchasing Boots of Speed. We also need a good farming and more Armor to continue keeping the lane and starting pushing it. That's why we will purchase Long Sword and then Madred's Razors. Life Steal is stil very important so purchase Vampiric Scepter. To improve our farming, Armor and Life Steal we will purchase Wriggle's Lantern (it also grants us a free ward).
EARLY GAME ITEMS (2)
We already have a good Armor for the Early Game, so now we will go for the Magic Resistance. Purchase Null-Magic Mantle in order to get Mercury's Treads. Those boots gives us Magic Resistance and Tenacity to counter those annoying CC effects. Since we don't have Health Regeneration we will go for Life Steal. Get B. F. Sword and Vampiric Scepter in order to have The Bloodthirster.
MID GAME ITEMS (1)
Let's proceed to make our Fiora tankier. In order to do this we will improve her Magic Resistance and Armor, but we also need AD and Attack Speed (she is still and AD Carry). First of all, purchase Recurve Bow. Since we already have some bonus AD we need Attack Speed. Then get Null-Magic Mantle and finally purchase Wit's End. With this, we have a good Magic resistance to face the rest of the game.
MID GAME ITEMS (2)
Now we need to get Armor, since we already have Magic Resistance. Purchase Chain Vest for this and then go for Cloak of Agility, and use them to purchase Atma's Impaler. This will grant more powerfull criticals since we won't have Infinity Edge.
LATE GAME ITEMS
We need to complete our build with Guardian Angel, so get Chain Vest and then purchase the full item. It will grants us bonus Armor and Magic Resistance. The passive of this item is great. It will help us in many situations, specially because we don't deal as much damage as a Full AD. It will help us to finish off 1v1 fights. The last thing we need is extra health and a good CC item. We will find both things with Frozen Mallet. Build Phage by selling Wriggle's Lantern first and then go for Frozen Mallet.
Situational Items Tanky DPS
It can happen that the enemy AP Carry is really fed, so you might go for Magic Resistance. Instead of Guardian Angel build this. It will give not just Magic Resistance, but also a great Movement Speed bonus and Health Regeneration. Purchase this if the enemy has 4 or 5 AP Carries too.
If the enemy AD Carry is fed like a lot, get this item to face him instead of Guardian Angel. The bonus Mana is quite useless with Fiora but +99 Armor is great, and the passives will help you during the whole match too.Purchase this if the enemy has 4 or 5 AD Carries too.
If you feel that you have enough Armor and Magic Resistance but that you don't have enough Health, get this instead of Guardian Angel. This item will take you out of the "squishy" category for sure.
Maybe the Force of Nature is not enough to face the fed AP Carry, so get this instead of Atma's Impaler. The passive will take you out of difficlt situations, for example shielding you from Karthus' Requiem. Purchase this if the enemy has 4 or 5 AP Carries too.
If you can't win the 1v1 against the fed AD Carry, even with Frozen Heart get this item instead of Wit's End. You will still have a good amount of Attack Speed and AD, and you will also have a bonus Armor that will help you a lot. Purchase this if the enemy has 4 or 5 AD Carries too.
If the enemy team doesn't have a lot of champions with CC skills but it has a lot of AD Carries (4 or 5), go for this instead of Mercury's Treads. The bonus Armor and the passive will be great during the Early Game.
I'll now proceed to explain how to play with Fiora in the different lanes. Most of the time, you'll be Solo Top if your team has a Jungler, but you may also be in a 2 Top Lane. It can happen that you find yourself on the Bot Lane, soloing or not. A Mid Lane Fiora is really rare and you don't see it a lot, but is not bad and she is really fun to play there.
Most of the time, you'll be Soloing Top, but you could also be Soloing Bot, depending on your team. Of course that if you are soloing there's a jungler in your team. The enemy team will have a Solo most of the time, but it can happen that they have no jungler and you must face a 2v1 lane.
Here's a list of the most common champions you'll find soloing:
Akali- Cho'Gath- Darius- Dr. Mundo- Evelynn- Fiora- Fizz- Galio- Gangplank- Garen- Irelia- Jarvan IV- Jax- Jayce- Master Yi- Mordekaiser- Nasus- Olaf- Pantheon- Renekton- Riven- Rumble- Shen- Shyvana- Singed- Sion- Talon- Tryndamere- Volibear- Warwick- Wukong- Xin Zhao- Yorick
When you are in a 1v1 lane, don't be shy and polite. Try to push a lot and to harrass the enemy. However, your main objective is to protect your turret. Your combination of Lunge--> Burst of Speed--> Lunge will force the enemy to keep the distance and make the things easier for you to farm. Remember to use Burst of Speed in order to do this. However, don't overextend and don't gank unless you are sure you can kill or if your jungler is around. Remember to ward the river to not get ganked too, and to pick Riposte first even if you are Full AD.
If it happens that the enemy team doesn't have a jungler, you'll have to 2v1 your lane. In this case don't push and keep your distance. Hug the turret and stay back, farming near your place. GANK ONLY IF YOUR JUNGLER IS READY TO. Remeber that in these cases, if you die the turret dies with you.
TEAM LANE TOP/BOT
Maybe your team doesn't have a jungler so you don't need to solo. If this is the case is very important to know who you'll be laning with and if thenemy team has or not a jungler. The best partners for you are the previous listed and also: Alistar- Amumu- Blitzcrank- Gragas- Hecarim- Lee Sin- Leona- Malphite- Maokai- Nautilus- Nocturne- Nunu- Poppy- Rammus- Sejuani- Skarner- Taric- Trundle- Udyr. Those champions are all melee. Don't go with ranged champions or stealth champions, since you'll be focused a lot and your squishness won't help you.
Organize with your teammate and try to focus the enemy Melee Carry. If your teammate has any CC skills, it will be great to take the enemy down. Use Exhaust to chase and to have easy kills. Try to make First Blood.
If you are facing two Ranged enemies, don't push. It will be hard to fall back then and to get kills. Hug your turret and gank wisely, waiting for a stupid movement. Keep the distance and move a lot, las hitting the minions. If you take down one of them, the lane will be yours but don't rush and be patient for a good moment.
SOLOING MID LANE
You will find Fiora in this lane rarely, but she is not bad at it and can be really fun. The problem is that Fiora players tend to be aggressive, while in the mid lane you must be patient and play deffensively. These are the most common opponents to find in this lane: Ahri- Akali- Anivia- Annie- Brand- Cassiopeia- Cho'Gath- Corki- Evelynn- Ezreal- Fiddlesticks- Fizz- Heimerdinger- Karthus- Kassadin- Katarina- Kennen- LeBlanc- Lulu- Lux- Malzahar- Mordekaiser- Morgana- Nidalee- Nunu- Orianna- Ryze- Swain- Teemo- Twisted Fate- Veigar- Viktor- Vladimir- Xerath- Ziggs- Zilean
Hug your turret and don't overextend. Most of the enemies you'll find depend on their mana so wait untill they are lack of it to gank. Don't spam and force them to use their skills on you. Bait them, put yourself where you look like an easy kill, that way they will throw all they have against you. When they can't use more of their spells GANK. In close combat, most of them are useless, and you'll get easy kills with your Riposte+ Burst of Speed+AutoAttacks. I've beaten Xerath, Lux, Anivia and Kassadin the few times I played in this lane, and it was rather easy by following these instructions.
If you are playing Tanky DPS then you are doing the Tank's job because your team is too squishy. Your job in teamfights will be to protect the Ranged squishy champions from ganks of the Melee Carry. You will have to initiate so gank first against the most dangerous Melee Carry. After that, if you are recieving too much damage and you could be an easy kill, use Blade Waltz.
After initiating, stay back and gank against the Melee Carry so you can protect your Ranged partners. Ask the support for all the Heals he can make and ask the CC effects to go against the Melee Carry.
Once he is out of the way, gank against the other Melee, or retain the Tank so he can't move and protect the Ranged enemy champions.
Don't be stupid and fall back if necessary. If the enemy team is moving "As a wall", rush Guardian Angel to survive the teamfights and add more tankiness to your champion.
As a Full AD, your main objective is to take down the most dangerous Carry in the enemy team, specially the Ranged Carry. Don't initiate. Get into the fight ambushing the backguard or the flank of the enemy team, to both create chaos and also to gank easier the objective.
Once into the fight, focus all your attacks in the most dangerous Carry, specially the Ranged Carry. If you get focused a lot, use Blade Waltz to protect yourself. Try to take the objective out of the teamfight, that way you won't end up in the middle of the battle.
If you achieve to take down the most dangerous Carry, go for the support. You can take him down easily and the enemy team will lost a vital part of it. Then go for the Ranged Carries, then for the Melee Carries and finally the Tank.
Fall back if necessary, and get Guardian Angel if you find hard to survive at teamfights. If you can, finish the battle with Blade Waltz.

Countering enemy champions (Very Hard!)
In this section, I will keep you updating about other builds and changes to this guide. This is the list of experimets I have tried (or I must to) and my conclusion.
EXPERIMENT: Many people reccommend to use the Trinity Force with Fiora. Personaly, I think that I'm paying more for the AP and the extra Mana, but the CC could replace the Frozen Mallet, and it would give me extra Movement Speed, Attack Speed, Critical Strike, and better AD.
SITUATION: MUST TRY
EXPERIMENT: I really like the idea of my attacks doing damage to more than one enemy (combined with Burst of Speed and Blade Waltz). However, I don't know what item should I replace for this. I need the CC from Frozen Mallet, the Critical Strike from Infinity Edge, the bonuses from Phantom Dancer. I think that I can replace The Black Cleaver if the enemy team is really squishy.
SITUATION: MUST TRY
EXPERIMENT: + I have read this combination and if you think about it is really good. If Atma's Impaler does extra damage equal to your max health, then this will be awesome. The thing is if you are sure you wanna get rid of Guardian Angel. Thanks to tehAsian and his Fiora guide for this idea.
SITUATION: MUST TRY
EXPERIMENT: I think this a great item for Fiora in exchange of Phantom Dancer. You get almost the same Attack Speed, extra health and your attacks will deal damage to more that one enemy (imagine this with Burst of Speed or Blade Waltz, and using the Tiamat). I think I must try this.
SITUATION: MUST TRY
Tell me the options you think will be good in Fiora so I can try them!

I learned how to play Fiora from this guys. They guides about this character are amazing and I always take a look at them to improve my skills or to be updated about the best ways to play with this great champion. Although they don't know it, they helped me out there a lot.
