mercy Mercy (Innate): Talon's autoattacks deal 10% additional damage to any target that is slowed, stunned, immobilized or suppressed.
This Passive is mostly underrated but when you attack a stunned carry in a teamfight the 10% are really helpfull to take him even faster down. Also when you have the Red Buff you apply your Passive with EVERY HIT.
Noxian Diplomacy (Q): Talon's next autoattack within the next 6 seconds deals additional physical damage. If the target is a champion they will also bleed for 6 seconds, taking additional physical damage each second and revealing their location for the duration.
A strong Skill which is mostly used after you blinked to your Enemy. It does an insane amount of Burst Damage with Sheen and the bleeding effect often kills fleeing enemies and dont forget you see their blood trails which helps you to chase them. Also this skill resets your attack timer! So use it after a basic attack to hit without delay. And this skill also works on Tower so use it whenever you attack Buildings.
Rake (W): Talon sends out a volley of daggers in a cone that then quickly return back to him, dealing physical damage to any enemies it passes through. Each enemy can only be damaged once at the start of the ability and once at the end. Additionally the enemy is slowed for 2 seconds, refreshing the duration of the slow if they are hit twice.
This is Talons bread and butter skill. You can use it for Harras or to finish of fleeing champions. Also it is good for an innitiaton cause you can slow a whole group of champions.
And remember you deal more damage against slowed enemies so use Rake to engage!
cutthroat Cutthroat (E): Talon instantly appears behind his target, silencing them for 1 second and amplifying his damage against that target for 3 seconds.
A blink with no cast time that silences the enemy and also boosts your damage against that target for 3 seconds. This spell is perfect to engage against single targets and especially to shut down casters.
Shadow Assault (R): Talon disperses a ring of blades outwards and gains stealth for up to 2.5 seconds while gaining 40% movement speed. When Talon emerges from stealth, the blades converge on his location. When the ring of blades expands and contracts, enemies hit receive physical damage. Each enemy can only be damaged once at the start of the ability and once at the end.
This is your "Low-CD-Ultimate-That-Gonna-****-Up-All-Squishy-Champions-In-Seconds". This spell is what makes Talon himself. You can use it to engage a fight and hit every enemy in a single teamfight or to flee from a fight or a gank.

This is one of the most important part of Talon. How do you chain your skills to kill targets quick and effective.
1. Combo
W -> E -> Q -> R
This Combo allows you to engage quick and leave the battlefield as quick as you engaged and will mostly kill Squishy Targets.
2. Combo
R -> E -> Q -> W
This Combo allows your ult not to miss because when you Cutthroat someone while your ult is active the Blades will directly fly at your target. The only negative part about this combo is that you cant escape easily so use this against single targets.
3. Combo ( Full Build )
W -> E -> AA (Sheen proc) -> Q (Sheen proc) -> R -> W
This Combo will mostly destroy every target in seconds but also need some timing to proc your sheen twice. But with a little bit training this will be mastered quickly.

Runes
Greater Mark of Desolation The Armor Pen is really necessary for Talon because all of his damage is physical.
Greater Mark of Attack Damage A little AD boost for the start because Talons skills only scale with AD
Greater Seal of Armor Armor Runes are a must to counter Talons squishyness
Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist Magic Resist per level is a must when Talon is played in the mid, alternate runes would be Armor runes for Solo Top
Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage Even more AD, who would say no to that?
Other good Choices
Greater Quintessence of Movement Speed This Movespeed allows you easy gank or chase
Greater Seal of Scaling Mana Regeneration If you can't manage your Mana this could help
When leveling up you will mostly skill Rake for his good harras and last hitting and pushing potential. On level 2 you can either level Cutthroat or Noxian Diplomacy which is situational. When you can go in for a kill take Cutthroat otherwise take Noxian Diplomacy and wait for level 3 or 4 to get Cutthroat.
Good Choices
Bad Choices
- Flash The-Get-Out-Of-Jail-Free-Card, usefull to catch up or to run away
- Ignite One of my favorite spells, especially with the DoT from Noxian Diplomacy it is very deadly
- Ghost You need to catch someone? Just turn Ghost on and then burst him to death!
- Teleport Another good choice to easily gank other lanes or return quickly to your lane after a gank
- Exhaust Another good Spell to slow an enemie and even lower his armor and resist
- Smite If you want to jungle you will need this
Bad Choices
- Clarity When you know how to use your skills you should never OOM and with our Masteries we have enough Mana for laning phase.
- Heal You should not be focused in Team Fights and when you are low health the ult should save you
- Surge We do not even have AP scaling and Attack Speed is not important
- Revive Do you even see someone taking this spell except Karthus or a troll?
- Promote Well its not really usefull and this giant minion just pushes your lane and makes you an easy target for the jungler
- Cleanse You should not be targeted in Team Fights and probably your carry will be CCed and not you
- Clairvoyance This is a support Spell and when you want map control: Buy wards!
Now to the Chapter you all waited for the Items
Core:
Ionian Boots of Lucidity: The best boots for Talon. The CD Reduction is really worth it for a champion that need all his skills.
The Brutalizer: AD, Armor Pen and Cooldown Reduction. Everything that Talon could need.
Infinity Edge: IE on Talon? Are you dumb? No but with Trinity and Ghostblade we will have a decent amount of crit. And remember? The Q can crit, so we have a good chance to critically strike with our E->Q Combo!
Trinity Force: Movespeed, AD , Sheen proc, crit, Mana, Health. All in one Item! The only negative thing in this Item is the AP of Sheen. Mostly we will start with the Phage because it give us some important Health and even more AD. After that we can either go for [Sheen]] for more Burst or for a Zeal to get some more Movespeed which is also important for Talon.
Bloodthirster: I would say one of the stronged AD Items ingame and really usefull for Talon even though his Spells do not proc Lifesteal except Noxian Diplomacy. But when you E -> Q someone our Lifebar will quickly fill again.
Youmuu's Ghostblade: We bought the The Brutalizer early and after our Bloodthirster we can upgrade it. It gives us now even more crit which is fantastic and also even more Armor Penetration and Cooldown Reduction. Also most people forget the active but it is really good to chase fleeing opponents and allows you to do the last strike.
Guardian Angel: I often get asked why i buy that Item. I think it is really important lategame because when you are fed you get focused easily and will die quickly. With this you can easily get the upper hand in a team fight. Imagine: You get killed and all enemies are now heading for their next target and because of all the trouble of a team fight they dont see that you revived and now its your time to ult and either run out of the battle or to strike back and burst those down who focused you.
Situational Items
Doran's Blade: When you have a poor early game stacking these can bring you back in the game, but never get more then 3.
Last Whisper: When the enemy team is stacking armor get this. You could sell Youmuu's for it but remember you will lose the CD Reduction and extra Crit and Active.
Frozen Mallet: When you need some more Health buy this instead of a Trinity. This Item also allows you to use your passive with every Auto Attack.
Atma's Impaler: When you got a Frozen Mallet this is a perfect Item. You gain some crit and also some of your HP get converted into AD. Pretty usefull but i dont build this Item often.
Maw of Malmortius: When the enemy team has alot of AP Champs get this Item after your Brutalizer to counter them out. The shield is really helpfull and saved me many times but dont forget it will only block Magic Damge so do not try to tank towers with it.
Sword of the Occult: If you are getting many kills you might grab this early but its very risky but at 20 Stacks it is really helpfull.
Mobility Boots: When you roam much this could give you more speed to reach lanes faster.
Philosopher's Stone: If you do poor this will grant you some gold and mana to spam.
Avarice Blade: Grab this early to gain some gold and build it into a Youmuu's Ghostblade

Talon can be played on many different Lanes.
First he can be played in mid to counter the AP Caster thanks to his silence. Also he can easily push his lane and gank top or bottom which is really usefull for the entire team. Also you will mostly dominate your lane against the squishy Caster like Veigar, Brand or Katarina. This will result in an underfed enemy AP Caster and also grants your team a fed Assassin who can take down Carries in no time.
He also can be played on the top lane but thanks to the Meta Talon has a hard time there. Most top laners have a good sustain and good tankiness. But Talon can still do his job there because he can farm easily with Rake and with a gank he can easily kill the enemy laner.
Also he can played in the Jungle, it may sound crazy but with a good team and pull it can work quite good. Thanks to Cutthroat you can easily gank lanes and grab some kills.

At first we pick Boots and three pots and then head to our lane ( Mid lane in the best case ) or we will go into the jungle when our Jungler needs a pull ( Another reason to skill Rake first). When the minions have spawned you need to concentrate on last hitting and try not to push your lane early or you will be an easy target for the enemy jungler. When last hitting try not to stand still and always move so you wont get hit by enemy spells. When you face a really strong laner and harraser like Brand or Cassiopeia try to last hit with Rake from some distance. With some training this should work quite fine. When you get dominated by the enemy you should get a Doran's Blade or two or get some magic resistance. Either way when you hit level 6 try to harras the enemy with Rake and when he is at half health go in for a kill with R -> E -> Q -> W. This should get you an easy kill and also some gold. Try to finish the The Brutalizer as quick as possible and then ask yourself if you need more Defensive stats or more Damage. When you need Defensive stats grab an early Hexdrinker or Phage. When you need Damage try to get your B. F. Sword as quick as possible.
In Mid Game it is the time to push your lane with Rake and try to gank Top or Bot. Try to gank the Lane which offers the best opportunities e.g. pushed lane or low Health champions. When ganking ask your Teammates if the enemy Champion has placed a ward or else you my not be able to catch them. Also you should always have an eye on your lane and return as quickly as possible when you see that the enemy mid laner is pushing his lane. By now its also time to buy your first big Item. Either you go for a Infinity Edge or a Bloodthirster. Those will boost your damage quite nicely and allow you to even farm and kill better.
Now it is the time of Teamfights, but what does this mean to us? Our job is to focus the most dangerous target first which will be the enemy carry. When engaging a teamfight NEVER be the first who runs in. Talon needs the element of suprise or else he gets focused and killed. After you used your combo try to move savely out of combat and wait until your cooldowns are refreshed or try to Autoattack an enemy who is slightly outside from his team. When your cooldowns are up again focus the next target with your E -> Q -> W combo. When you know the enemy team is stronger than yours dont use your ult to engage. Use it to flee from combat after u used your other spells and when the fight is still going on go in with another E -> Q -> W Combo.
When you want to Jungle its important to grab Cloth Armor and 5 Health Potion.
Start with Rake and go beginn with the wolves. Ask your mates to hit them a bit and also to pull blue hard. After you got blue head to the ghosts and right after that do the wolves again. If you see that you can gank get a level in Cutthroat now and gank. Otherwise level Rake one more time and head to red or go b if your health is low.
Summary:
Wolves -> Blue -> Ghosts -> Wolves -> Gank, Go b or red
After you got your wriggles ganking will be a breeze and if you buy a Philosopher's Stone you can give blue to your Mid champion.

On Twisted Treeline start with Boots and a [Doran's Blade]]. When you have no jungler try to play on a solo lane to get more farm and exp. It is important to try to control 1 Altar at anytime so you get 4 bonus gold per kill. This grants you much gold and will allow you to get your build much easier. You should try to lasthit as much as possible and if needed push your lane with Rake and kill some jungle monsters or gank the other lane. When your team is level 11+ and you aced the enemy team or got a good chance to kill Vilemaw then do it. It will grant you a massive buff which will easy allow you to dominate and push.
Summary:
Control at least 1 Altar -> Farm as much as possible -> Gank often -> Keep an Eye on Vilemaw

On Dominion it is important to use Ghost and Movespeed Quints to be as fast as possible. Also we start with 1 point in every skill so we can use our full combo early. At the start buy Boots and a Prospector's Blade. This will give us some good Mobility and damage. Your task should be to take the Point in mid while the rest is going top and one bot.
After you have taken mid you should almost be level 4 where you will level Rake. Now head top to help your allies to get the control of the top point or gank bot if possible to capture over the enemies bot point. As you are an assassin you should try to attack champs that are fleeing or alone to take them out of battle but dont forget to keep your points captured and capture the enemies points. Also you can grab the Stormshield to get a massive buff that will boost your survivability.
Summary:
Capture Mid -> Gank bot or help top -> Roam and capture points
