Introduction

Hello everyone here on mobafire. I'm new to these forums, but playing LoL for quite a while already, was searching for good builds for Mordekaiser and found this epic website! This guide is all about Talon - one of my favorite champions in League of Legends.

Runes

Armor penetration is absolutely vital for Talon, this makes your hits deadly already from the start of the game, even more deadly if you slow the enemy (+10% damage from Talons Passive). I chose Greater seals of Evasion because dodge fully disables the received damage and 0.75% is quite much, you have a total of 6.75% dodge chance which is quite much. But those seals are quite expensive as well, as an alternative you could buy Greater Seal of Resilience for some armor at the beginning, but I recommend Greater Seals Of Evasion for the more rich players under us. Talking about Greater Glyphs Of Shielding - Attack speed would work there too, but I chose them because they give you some defense against AP champions at the beginning of the match. Greater Quintessence of Desolation - This is just for more deadly attacks at the beginning as well as late game, but feel free to replace them with AD runes(I chose Armor penetration because late game your damage grows big enough anyway).

Masteries

For my masteries I've chosen the 21/9/0 build. In my opinion this is the best one for Talon since he has no skills which require AP. You could go for a 21/6/3 build too, then you'd have a bit more mana, but I found that 21/9/0 is the best one for Talon and my build.

Items

As you can see all my items are combined for maximum damage and critical strike. Each hit heals you back massive health so you are quite hard to bring down, unless stunned. If you're very successful you can buy a Sword of the Occult after you have a full build(just sell your boots and buy Occult) When you reach 20 stacks, you'll have a great movement speed and your damage will be massive(~550 with 40 stacks for Bloodthirster and 20 for Occult). You will deal around 1400 critical damage, which is massive and you will crit almost each hit you deal.

Skill Sequence

My favorite skill sequence:
First use Rake to slow the enemy(which makes you deal 10% more damage to the enemy)
Then activate your Q skill(don't hit him yet) and quickly jump to your enemy by using the E skill. He'll barely survive that massive hit because E amplifies your damage for a bonus 15%, this makes a total of 25% more damage against the target which is massive!

R skill is a very powerful tool, it's both an escape tool and deals massive damage at the same time. When fighting large amounts of enemies you can use R to bring half of their HP easily down.

Summoner Spells

Flash - this can be really anything, I chose it just because it's a great tool for escaping as well as chasing enemies.

Exhaust - This is vital for Talon, it helps you deal bigger damage, because your damage against slowed enemies is increased by 10%, so this is absolutely needed and not replaceable.

Summary

Summing everything up - this build is meant to deal massive damage to enemies, you can bring almost any tank easily down. Try it for yourself! Comment & rate my guide, and sorry for mistakes because English isn't my native language! :)
