Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Welcome to FLashblitz' Jungle Talon build
People don't often use talon for jungling.
He has low health/defense, but if you look further than that he has high gankability.
With a gapcloser/silence and a slow he can easily gank target players.
For runes I went atk speed marks and flat atk quints because otherwise your damage will be too low in the jungle.
Armor and Mress will give me give me a bit of a defense advantage against the mid and the ad carry.
I went 21/9/0 in masteries. In offense I take the 4% crit mastery because in combination with my green elixer it will have a lot of crit rate earlygame. A random crit can get you a kill.
In defense de Bladed armor is a must for talon, because he is verry squishy against big jungle mobs like Lizard Elder and Golem. The bladed armor will help you with the extra damage you need to finish them off.
I start off with a Elixer of Agility and 6 pots. The Elixer will give me atk speed to finish the jungle faster, and it will also give me movement speed and crit %.
The 1st time I go back I will buy boots of speed, a vampiric scepter and another Elixer, and some pots alongside. my early game items will be CD boots, Wriggles and Brutalizer, lowering the CD of my skills (more important, Noxian diplomacy and Cutthroath). After that i will buy a Phage for the atk/hp and a bloodthirster for extra damage. my endgame items are Yomuu's, Frozen Mallet and Trinity force. You can also build and early Sheen for extra damage on your Noxian Diplomacy. Yomuu's is teh perfect ninja item in combination with Shadow Assault makes you chase/kill on the targets faster or escape faster. Frozen Mallet will trigger his passive 10% damage with it's slow, and will give Talon a bit more durability.
Most Talon players will max Rake 1st, but Noxian Diplomacy makes jungle so much easier. Since activating cutthroat will reset the Atk timer you can use it to attack twice. It will be your main jungling skill. At lvl 2 take rake for the slow so your passive will trigger the 10% extra damage. At 3 take Cutthroat and you are ready to gank. Max Noxian Diplomacy 1st, then Rake and then Cutthroat, and max Shadow Assault whenever you can.
Creeping / Jungling
Start at Blue golem. Just autoattack it and use Noxian Diplomacy for the extra attack and the bleed damage whenever it's off cooldown. After blue do Wolves, Wraiths, Red Lizard Elder/Golems or the other way around. Don't forget to use your Noxian Diplomacy, it's your main tool for jungling. At lvl 3 you are ready to gank since you'll have all 3 of your skills ready. I would recommend ganking mid/bot, to give your Carries an advantage. Cutthroat in and use your exhaust, then hit them with your Noxian Diplomacy, if your exhaust ran out, use your Rake for the extra slow. Talon is also a good diver if you have Shadow ***ualt. Dive with Cutthroat, follow up with Rake and Noxian Diplomacy, then use Shadow Assault to kill/run away with the extra movement speed.
