Introduction

Talon. Honestly? The best AD Burst Type champion in the game. This build is FAR different from the other Talon builds out there. Hopefully you will dominate easily with it, as I do/did.

Pros / Cons

PROS

  • This build accumulates health, with the amazing damage output Talon has.
  • Frozen Mallet, along with Boots of Mobility makes sure you never lose your enemy. DISCLAIMER: FLASH IS GAY.
  • Early game Talon hits like a truck. Late game Talon hits like 10 trucks.
  • Late game, if focused, the enemy team will have a hard time killing you quick enough to avoid their own death(s).

CONS
  • Being the new champion, Talon is immediately the focused target.
  • If caught in a messy situation without your ult. Talon is pretty much SoL at getting away.

Runes

MARKS

Greater Mark of Desolation: The only viable mark for any AD burst champion.

SEALS
Greater Seal of Resilience: With the health from this build, the additional armor from these seals will allow you survive much longer.

GLYPHS
Greater Glyph of Warding: With the health from this build, the additional magic resist from these glyphs will allow you survive much longer.

QUINTESSENCES
Greater Quintessence of Desolation: The only viable quintessence for any successful AD burst champion.

Summoner Spells

Flash: is the best summoner spell for Talon. Like I said in the "Cons", Talon has not way of getting away, if his cooldowns are ****ting on him.

Exhaust: is one of the next great summoner spells for Talon. His ult is utilized by staying close to your target. If they are speed racers, you have no way of slowing them down. Exhaust, in this build, is not as good as the other builds out there, mainly because of the Frozen Mallet. But it is still devastating, none the less.
Ghost: Ghost is pretty much useless for Talon. Mainly because of Cutthroat. You will not need to catch up that often.
Ignite: is a personal preference. But I would take Exhaust over Ignite any day.

Farming

Talon's Rake, allows him to farm pretty efficiently. Use it when the enemy champions are near, to harass. This harass will do massive damage to the enemy champion(s), as well as get you some much needed creep kills.

Auto-attacking as Talon will not get you very far, seeing as how his attack speed is slow.

Skill Sequence

The skill sequence for Talon is pretty simple.

then

then

then

(Cutthroat exception at level 4)
  • Rake does massive damage early game, and slows the target for that easy kill.
  • Noxian Diplomacy adds that extra *unf*. Meaning, your enemy will be saying *unf* when you slice their head off with your huge *** blade.
  • Cutthroat is picked up at level 4, to assure you get to your target on time, and easily. After all your other spells are maxed, you then max Cutthroat.
  • Your ultimate (Shadow Assault) should be increased ASAP. Which is why it is top on the priority list.

Items

3 Long Swords?

Yes.
The reason I chose to get 3 Long Swords, instead of anything else, is because they quickly increase Talon's damage output, as well as build into the rest of the items later on.
The first Long Sword builds into the Phage, which quickly comes into play, and increases Talon's survivability, as well as his kill opportunities from the slow.
The second Long Sword builds into the Last Whisper. Which will make Talon not only a Anti-squishy; but allows Talon to do massive damage to the "bully" type champions; such as Garen, or Jarvan.
The third Long Sword builds into the phage, used in the Trinity Force. Trinity Force gives Talon pretty much everything. Health. Damage. Critical Strike. And even movement speed.
Overall, the 3 Long Sword combo, works well in any game.

Boots of Mobility? YOU BAD BRO

Despite what others say about the Boots of Mobility, I think they are the best Boots for Talon. By far. Talon is one of the best roaming champions in the game thus far, and will be for quite some time. The Boots of Mobility allow Talon to easily get ganks, and easily get away from the fight if need be.
