I have played Amumu A LOT! He's very fun to play. Very beefy. I hope this build is going to help you a lot. This build has worked out for me... A LOT. I lost 3 or 4 games with him, but everything else i won with him and I hope it's like that for you guys too once you use this build. :3

Well, the runes that I chose give some armor, magic resist, and health. I chose these because you're not really sure what enemies you'll get. So I equally defensed it by getting 9 health marks, 9 armor seals, 9 magic resistance glyphs, 1 of each defense (Magic resist, armor, health.) Quintessence. I think these runes were best for a full tank Amumu.

As you can see, the masteries in defense are FULL TANK so that Amumu can save a lot of people. In the utility section, it gives me mana, faster exp, and less death time. Mana becuase Amumu, in the early games, is kind of mana hungry. Faster exp is so that hopefully, me and my laning partner could over level the opposing team when they're gone. Less death time is so that maybe when someone is dying and you're dead, you can save them faster.

The items, in my opinion, is really good because the items that I chose for each build helps Amumu get more defense and protection. 1st build is for 2 ap, 1 tank, and 2 ad. 2nd is for an ad heavy team. Like 1 tank, 3 or 4 ad. 3rd is for an ap heavy team. 1 tank, 3 or 4 aps. I made it so his defense for the opposing team is higher and there is a higher possiility to survive than die. That's why I think the items I chose are really good.

Clairvoyance - You don't really need it...
Clarity - End game, Amumu's not so mana hungry and I hope your team get clarity if they need it.
Cleanse - No use. Mercury Treads remember?
Exhaust - Very good in early game for ganks.
Flash - Very good to run away.
Fortify - Just save the turret. :P
Ghost - Another good thing to run away
Heal - No need. You should have a lot of health early and late game.
Ignite - Good for ganking, but really easy to ks with it.
Rally - Never really used it so i'm not sure.
Revive - REALLY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!!!!????
Smite - This build is not jungle build.
Teleport - You shoudn't push turrets by yourself.

Pros
- Extremely beefy.
- Many assists so lots of money.
- Dies 3 or 4 times every game.
- Saves a lot of your teammates.

Cons
- Sometimes have to kil yourself to save team.
- Barely any minions slayed.
- hard to aim his stun.
- Have to be able to support team.
- Hard to play.

In the early game, never try to get minion kills. You don't needd it because you get money from assists. So just hit the minions 3 or 4 times and let your partner kill it (If your partner is not a tank). Amumu has no need for farming so, never try to ks a minions kill. he reallt doesn't need it because he's a tank. So, when you play Amumu, never, ever, ever try to kill a minion. Honestly, I always have like 35 minions killed when the game is over. So try to have thast type of range of minions slayed on every game you finish.

In team fights:
Bandage Toss, Tantrum, Despair, then ulti. Do this really fast so no one gets away. once you ulti, just spam some random skills (NOT summoner spells).

Not in team fights:
Bandage Toss, Tantrum, Despair. Keep repeat Bandage Toss and Tantrum in that order then, you'll probably get an assist.

ALWAYS! ALWAYS, ALWAYS, ALWAYS try to save your teammates. Aiming your stun will be hard and I admit that when I first played Amumu, everyone was mad at me because I missed my stuns and got them killed. But, try to help your team by stunning, ulti, and exhausting. Go for squishies first so that the tanks can't do anything when you kil all 4 of the opposing team. You'll probably get an ace if you go for squishies first and then tanks.

First, try your hardest to level 1-6 so you can get your ulti. (Try not to get any minions. Always try to do teo things at once. If enemy champion is nearby, while you're helping your team get minions killed, use your Tantrum so they get hit and you lit the minions.) Next, you will be in some teamfights so try to aim for an ace. Go for squishies first, get an ace, and then push like crazy until someone is alive on the opposing team. Keep trying to get 3 or more killed on the opposing team so you can push as a team, or you can just backdoor. Finally, GO FOR THE NEXUS!!!!!!!!!!!! And try to tank the turrets if you're in a hurry and there's no minions around. Then, after that, GG.
