This is a good build but I prefer tanking with a bit more flexible of an arsenal. Perhaps include some possible item switches?

This looks like a very good build to me. Of course..I have seen it in action and what the player can do with it so I know its very very good.

Okay, that is a very viable reason to go with the Chalice. Most characters I use, I have reason to go for one of the items that the Tear builds into. This looks like a Nasus that would be very difficult to take down. I will just have to test to see if he still does significant enough damage to still be an issue for the other team. This looks like a well thought out guide though. The only thing is most games that I play anymore do not last past the 45 minute mark. Good luck.

Svingas- Theres a couple reasons I go chalice instead of tear. The biggest reason is that I find the magic resist early is very helpful early on and throughout the game. Second reason is that late in the game when the build is pretty much complete, I end up selling the chalice anyway to buy an item with stronger magic resist or armor. Items that the tear builds into do not offer any magic resist or armor, which is what Im going for and really the only thing Nasus needs- even more survivability.

Also, youre right that awareness is just as viable, if not perhaps more viable than some of the other alternatives. Its a subtle difference either way, but its just my preference to select talents that continue to help me past the 45 minute mark.

GnomeRaper- Its true, tanking isnt for everyone. Thanks for trying it out anyway. I hope you will find what youre looking for.

This looks to me like a very good quality build, but I have just a few questions before I can offer my vote. My first and primary question, is why do you choose to go with a Chalice of Harmony over a Tear of the Goddess. Nasus uses spells fairly often so you will be able to consistently build up mana with a Tear of the Goddess. And then you have the opportunity later on in the game if you are not having much trouble with getting hurt by the other team to upgrade the Tear for either more ap or more ad. My only other question/suggestion would be to put points into Awareness, rather than Meditation because of the recent nerf to Meditation and because leveling up faster is never a bad thing.
