in this build you will get a very high hp renekton who can deal some good damage and really do will in team fights either soaking up dmg for your team or doing alot of AOE with your Cull the Meek , Slice and Dice and passive or well in solo being hard to kill and hitting alot.

ok to be honest i dont have a huge amount of runes so i just went with what i have but you can go with anything from tanking runes like hp, armor, magic resist or dps runes such as attk speed or just straight dmg. what ever you feel is better. again the runes i have set are just what i have (pathetic i know), these worked well with me but you can do anything else and it could be better

ok with these masteries you get a lot more tanky early-mid game. you cant really use the offensive tree cuz it doesnt really help you with this build but if you wish you could take one point from greed in utility and put in the exhaust mastery.

you start the game with a Doran's Blade giving you hp and dmg, then you start the Phage for hp and dmg, then build the boots of your choice. i personaly like attk speed boots for part dps but you can choose any you like.then i go a bit dps and get a The Brutalizer for dmg, cd reduction and armor pen after that i build my phage into a Frozen Mallet for slow and hp. once i have that i build Warmog's Armor for health and upgrade my brutalizer into a Youmuu's Ghostblade and get a Bloodthirster for damage and life steal. finaly i sell my dorans blade for a Atma's Impaler giving me some crit chance, armor and 2% of my hp is turned into attack, with all my hp items and ultimate thats 100 dmg for me

i like these items because the slow really helps to keep guys from running away and early game your damage is good by itself so this gives you hp to keep you alive longer and late game you start to get more dmg to take down bigger foes.

Ruthless Predator is your main dmg skill with a good stun aswell but i choose to get one poin in Cull the Meek at the start to help farm and heal up, also early game it does good dmg against enemy champs. Slice and Dice i only use to catch up to enemys, running away or to farm so i get one point at level 3 just to have that ability

you can choose what ever spells you like. i just choose these two becuase Exhaust slows down enemys alot and can shut someone down if used right and Flash can help me start a fight or flee if things are not going well

pros: you will have alot of hp and good damage
you will be a key in your team to win the game
you level up fast with your farming abilitys

cons: you will be focused alot in team fights because you are tank and have lots of AOE
you will probably not carry your team but you will help win

i dont jungle with this champion but a few things to note if you do go to jungle a creep on the way to a lane. when facing the dragon,golem,lizard or baron you should save your fury for Ruthless Predator for more damage because your Cull the Meek wont heal for much against one creep. for all the others you should use you fury for Cull the Meek to heal and do more dmg to all the creeps at the camp.

your job in fighting with a teammate is to do some damage and control the enemys with your Exhaust and Ruthless Predator . when in team fights you want to do as much AOE as you can but also stop the enemy teams carry. you should go into the fight with your Dominus and use your Cull the Meek and Slice and Dice skills for AOE, while doing this find the enemy carry and use your Ruthless Predator to stun them and because they are probably a mage so it will do good damage

renekton has a really good skill early game where he Slice and Dice into the enemy and uses Ruthless Predator on one of them, then hits his Cull the Meek and Slice and Dice back out. with this you get in, do damage and heal (not to mention stun the enemy), then you get out without taking to many hits.

whenever i play renekton i'm always ahead in levels even if i dont get alot of kills. the reason being is because renekton is great at farming. using his Cull the Meek and Slice and Dice he can do lots of AOE to minions and if you use it to last hit you will get lots of gold
