Introduction

Hello Garen Fans! My 2nd Official, Mobafire Build will arrive at Demacia! I'm not a fan of elaborating guides like some famous, Mobafire members, but here come Garen, Demacia's Holy Might, the tanky champion! Enjoy!

Pros / Cons

Pros On Garen:

Easily farms a wave of minions(E). (Fast clean-up in Top/Bot lanes. After the minions are slain, he quickly goes back to help in Team Fights)
Swift Engage/Disengage!
Previously Tanky!
Ultimate = 1 Hit KO!
OP Early Game!

Cons On Garen:

Easy to Kite.
Only CC is a silence.
High Movement Speed allows diving.
Can fall back in Late Game.
Taric is in love with him, so he deals more damage to Garen!

Runes

Marks and Quintessences vary on your style.

9 Greater Armor Penetration Runes are helpful against most Tanky, Melee, Top Laners. There aren't many Armor Penetration Items in the Shop which makes it one of the preferable Runes than the rest. (Attack Damage Runes are optional if your a fan of High Damage Output)
9 Armor Seal are the best choice for close-combat champions like Garen.
9 Greater Glyph of Scaling Magic Resist are a great choice against AP champions.
3 Greater Quintessence of Attack Damage will absolutely assist the Armor Penetration from the Marks to secure the kill. (Varies on your play style)

Masteries

Masteries are pretty simple for many players. Again, I am not a fan of elaborating guides like some famous, Mobafire members, but decent Masteries are needed for certain champions. Since Garen is a CD-Type champion, lowering his Cooldowns will be useful. For my Masteries, I go for 21 Offense 9 Defense 0 Utility.

Summoner Spells

Ignite is an amazing Summoner Spell! Ignite will be the finishing touch on an enemy champion with about 10% or below HP. Once you hit your enemy, "YOU HAVE SLAIN AN ENEMY/LEGENDARY"!

Flash is so awesome that I ALWAYS use it! Reasons on why I love it so much:
Chasing Enemies!
Trolling!
Going through walls!
Saves your life!
Great Offense with Great Defense!
