Spells:
Flash
Clairvoyance
Ability Order
Bravado (PASSIVE)
Taric Passive Ability
Introduction
: Flash is pretty much a guarantee in higher level games. Ghost can be substituted, but I prefer Flash.
: Clairvoyance gives ridiculous map control and allows for buying less wards overall.
Okay Spells:
: This is rather more of a carry spell than for you, but if you prefer...
: This is pretty much the same as Ignite above...
: This is actually a good support spell. Double Heal on bot is very strong early game. The only problem with this is it falls off late game.
We max Imbue first. This is our main support move, and our only heal. Then we move on to Shatter. This gives a strong armor bonus, and helps your carry farm with the AoE.
Gemcraft: Taric's passive is very useful. The mana regen really helps with lane sustain. All you have to do is autoattack the full health minions. DO NOT take CS in the early levels. If your carry goes to gank, feel free.
Reckoning: Imbue is your heal move. It allow you to sustain your carry in game and give yourself sustain as well. You want to max it first, to sustain your squishy carry, especially if the have a poker( Caitlyn).
You're going to want to max out Imbue before Dazzle and Shatter.
- You should never use Imbue on yourself. The Spirit Visage you will get will make up for some of the lost self-heal, and the carry or other ally could probably use the heal.
- Melee attacks decrease the cooldown on Imbue. Make sure to hit full health minions a whole lot.
- Use this almost every opportunity you get. It really helps your lane sustain.
Shatter: This gives a significant amount of armor to your allies, and, when placed correctly, can turn a teamfight around. Remember, if you are your team's tank, that you lose the armor buff if you activate this.
You're going to want to max out shatterg before Dazzle and after Imbue.
- Shatter is a great pushing tool. Just remember to be cautious, as you lose the armor buff.
- Shatter makes Taric tanky without a lot of tank items.
- Shatter can help a gank immensely.
Dazzle: Dazzle is Taric's stun. This is the easiest stun in the game to land. No skillshot, no Aoe, just click and hit. Done. Get this at level 1 to help with teamfights.
You're going to want to max out Dazzle after Imbue and Shatter.
- When you Dazzle, remeber that it's missile speed is quite low. This can ruin many a gank.
- The stun only lasts one and a half seconds. Use it wisely.
- Don't use this on Nocturne or Sivir. Spell Shield!!
Radiance: This does a burst of AoE damage, and gives everyone around you a AD and AP boost. This is very useful while pushing, or especially in a teamfight.
You're going to want to max out Radiance whenever possible, like every other champion except Poppy.
- Radiance is amazing in teamfights. It buffs everyone on your team with whichever stat they need.
- Radiance improves Teemo's mushrooms if he is standing by you, no matter where they are on the map.
- Radiance's bonus lasts for ten seconds. Use it at the beginning of a teamfight to inprove your initiation, or in the middle to help chasers.
- Don't be afraid to spam. The cooldown is really low with all the CDR in this build.
: I get the Ionian Boots of Lucidity for the CDR, which, per this guide, you need. The additional movement speed is basically required on any champion.
: Randuin's Omen is just stupendous on Taric. It provides three main stats in the armor, health and CDR. The passive is very helpful when you are facing an autoattack carry. The active can drastically alter a teamfight when combined with your ultimate.
:This is one of my preferred items on Taric. It provides a cost effective amount of magic resistance, CDR and a sweet passive. Imbue heals yourself every time you use it, so this just makes it a little more effective.
: Some people may say that this is too late in the build to purchase, and that the bonuses are too small at that level. Not true! The bonuses look small, but they add up because EVERY person on your team receives the bonuses. That's 60 armor, 75 magic resist and 40 AD! And that's just 1925 gold!
: This provides a little more magic resist, and , of course, the life-saving passive. The health and mana is very nice too, tanking you up a little.
: This is just kind of overdoing it on the armor part. Get this only if they have 3 or more Ad caries, and by that point it doesn't really matter what you build. Go ahead and get a Rabadon's Deathcap. You'll have enough assists by far.
: This item is kind of useless unless you have a couple of AP carries. If that's the case, go ahead. You'll destroy their health.
This really helps to mfinish off the low haelth carry late game, and builds from our kage's lucky pick.
: This can be a very strong item. If you intend to purchase this, buy it instead of the Aegis of the Legion. Use this in conjunction with Shurelya's Battlesong for a good escape from a lost teamfight. Also, use this against Karthus. It will help survive Requiem.
zeke's herald This is trong if your top or jungle is AA based, like Tryndamere or Udyr. Gives your carry quite a large DPS boost too.
