It's all there, that's the laning setup you should do. Your team should always be flanking (get them from behind etc.). Just roll with your team and stay back while you let Malphite and Olaf initiate. Then you come in with Pantheon and Gangplanks Cannon Barrage, make him use Raise Morale and you should have no problem acing them.

Your job is to Imbue Malphite and Olaf, while if Pantheon or Gangplank get focused you only have to make sure they don't die. Only use Dazzle to cancel ulti's, help an ally, or catch up to someone fleeing or catch them off guard ( Dazzle -> Rush /w team = Kill). The rest is pretty much the same.

You should also focus a lot more on AP and cooldown reduction, and stay back.

Someone should have taken a ranged champion for sure, but since it was a ranked, leaving the game/queue is like giving up before it even started. All you need to do is rally your team, and give it your best shot. You'll learn a lot from it, even if you didn't win :)

Gangplank: Mid or Taric > Solo

Olaf: Jungle or Malphite

Would prefer having Olaf jungle,
The general strategy should be flanking, if you got head on you're screwed.

See... that's the thing though. It WASN'T ranked. I'm still not summoner level 30 yet. The ranked requirement use to be Level 20 and so there wasn't any screwing around, but now that they changed it I have to put up with the BS just a little longer until I reach summoner level 30 (I'm 27 at the moment, it's been a real hassle getting to 30 what with the stuff that I explained in my last post.

You're right though, someone should have taken a ranged. So that's why I asked if I should have just left during the Champion Select Screen because the team was an obvious fail. What are you supposed to do in situations like that? When your team picks nothing but melee (Or perhaps there is only ONE ranged and 4 melee)?

Very frustrating...

I personally would swap it trinity force for a lich bane, but other than that this build is pretty solid, great work! +1
I might actually agree with you :3
Lich Bane is far more proficient and you do get the same results, who needs that slow? Who needs that crit chance? I'd say Lich Bane is far more superior with it's AP.

Alright... I need your honest opinion Alahric...

I'm mostly a solo queue person who sometimes plays with 1 friend who I know IRL. Since I solo queue, its hard to distinguish exactly if the team is going to do well or not. So basically I got this in my last game (Which was probably more fail than that of Fail Blog)

Gangplank
Pantheon
Olaf
Taric
Malphite

Now in your opinion... who should have gone where, does the team make up just suck in general, and should I have just left before the game even started even though I would have gotten a 6 minute wait time penalty before I could join another game?

I'm really upset that they changed Ranked to being level 30 only because I really didn't have to put up with this bull **** in ranked with teams being so pants on the head ******ed =\

I would also like to point out that the "Recommended Item Build" is very nice and that maybe you should consider putting it into the build list itself instead of just listing their final outcomes for Cheat Sheet purposes.

It's quite the mystery, the 80th build on this site.. one of the very first. Yet one of the newer ones already have twice as many views and votes. I simply don't know, maybe people just aren't all interested in Taric. But I'd be lying then, for I was comparing it to one of the newer Taric builds.

My guess is that people feel like they have already seen this build, it's.. just wierd.

Ok, so you've strayed away from the aura ***** Taric? I like that, because Support's aren't people who just stack auras like people think.

And I didn't say anything about Soul Shroud. Although I do agree that Mana Regen items are a bit of a waste. Mana Regen is only necessary early game on most champions, so getting regen items will slow down your build too much I think.
