Taric, The Gem Knight

Your primary goal is to get assists for experience and feeding your carries, usually you would not care about getting kills or assists, just as long as you have made sure that your target dies and your allies survive you are good to go, all you want to do is achieve is Victory! Before the match starts you need at least 2-3 other physical DPS on your team to even consider picking Taric because of his ultimate, also keep in mind that League of Legends tends to favor the aggressor so having a team filled with supports and Bad carries is a recipe for disaster! -Keep in mind that you need a few Casters can be good, but having an entire team with a 40% damage boost can be devastating!

Pros:
Versatile- Supporter, assister and tank.
Radiance- 30/30/40% physical damage increase.
Shatter- Easy to last hit minions after shatter.
Stun- Allows you to assist, also escape and save.
Heal- Counters harasses, saves lives.

Cons:
Semi Long Cooldowns- This is why we get CDR.
Low Movement Speed- This is the main reason you die in ganks.
Bad Carry- This is why we assist instead of getting the kill.

Early Game:1-7
Buy meki pendant and 2x health potions to help you out early game, pick the upper or lower lane, normally I would go with a carry or another champion with killing potentials, ranged or melee, it really doesn't matter early game. You should put a point into Dazzle for 2 second stun and try to harass and possibly kill the one of the enemy champions going against you, try killing the one with the lowest health & armor or the most reckless one. Make sure to replenish your allied champion’s health as well as your own and try using clarity when both you and your lane partner is oom, with the Insight mastery this can be very efficient. The whole point of the 2 health potions is to use them early for the times were you have been harassed a lot during the stage of level 1-4.

Mid game:7-14
When you reach level 10 most people go out of their lanes and gank, try to Support your allies instead of doing that because you are most likly to fail unless you got backup. Because of Radiance you will want to stay with High DPS champions, ranged or melee: it affects both, However you shouldn't ignore Casters as they can prove useful if they are able to do some CC and a considerable amount of damage to get the kill. Your main Focus should be on destroying towers and supporting your allies, once one tower is down you should "b" for back as you are most likly to be ganked at this moment, remember that its a long way back to your base. If middle or upper/bottom lane is losing their towers you should consider helping them as you don't wan to face Super Minions at level 13!

Buy- Stinger


Late Game:14-18
Grab a Ancient Golem Buff as soon as possible to keep up your mana when you are pushing the lanes and bringing down the inhibitors at your enemies base or protecting your own base. You are a Semi tank, you should tank towers at your enemies base and take all the focus fire and then flash out when youa re low and the simply heal back up again. Just you don't forget to keep auto-attacking for that Imbue CDR and some mana.

Buy- Stark's Fervor
Buy- Guardian Angel


Things to Watch out for:
Gangplank - His Grog Soaked Blade = 40% Reduced Healing effect!
Executioners Calling - Executioners Mark = 50% Reduced Healing effect!
Ignite - Ignite = 50% Reduced Healing effect for 5 seconds!
UPDATE: Exectioner's now has a 60 Second Cooldown, making it less harmful
UPDATE: Reduced healing effects no longer stack, THANK GOD!
