Athene's Unholy Grail makes chalice of harmony viable. Id like to see an update man. Good work

Nice build man... Taric is one of my first heroes in LoL, but I was always playing him in offense... But after reading your guide I decided to give it a try, and... I ruled with my laning partner... The auras on this build are awesome, and my team was buffed like a pancer division... The only diference with your build was Nashor's Tooth in place of Chalice of Harmony (thanx to IxieSorrow for pointing it out) and runes: I used marks for mag penetration, seals for armour(flat), glyphs for AP(again flat) and quints for AP(flat)!!! Those runes I own, later I will get seals for mana regen but that's it, I will continue with the quins of potency cause 15 Ap is way beter on Taric than 72 health!!!Oh yeah, I start with Meki Pendant(cause it builds into Fiendish Codex= +CDR+AP+Mper5 sec, and than to Nashor's Tooth= +CDR+AP+AS+Mper5) and a couple of healing pots...
I voted +1 for helping me a lot with my own build!!!

I think its a good build so i +1 but some things to add :
i think mana manipulator as first item is an error , i prefer pick only 1 of the part and buy 3 wards , it allow you to deny bush to your opponents and ward the river bush when the enemy jungler can come .
Aegis i think its not necessary because every good tank will buy it early , so take a shyrelya instead !
I like your idea to take will of the ancients to get both ap and a useful aura for the team good idea !
Teleport is good but if you support you NEED clairvoyance !
i will maybe swap blue runes for mana regen (increased by the chalice)
And to end , it can be good to add mercury or mobility to boots options , you always need to adapt !

Keep up the good work !

I just tried this supporttank-heal-shaco thing and we absolutely smashed our opponents. The healing done is really fun and makes you feel like an important part of the team. I didn't die a single time - my Shaco partner died twice in a teamfight I think. Great guide !

Oh np, i'm just saying that the Attack speed helps his Passive and his Q with a bit of HP from it, because of that i've never run out of Mana with him in 4 months ._.'

hmm also good to have Nashor's but he gets out of mana without the items in my guide thats why i dont have nashors in my guide but if u like the item i wont stop you from taking it its just not my personal favorite, thx btw ^^

I prefer more of an attack speed start with Nashor's tooth with Taric, just to get off heals 9 times faster. From there work with the ally auras and then look at my enemies and get whatever they have more of, as in more ap carries = more MR gear. I play him like a pissoff personally. Never popping Shatter until nessicary since that increased armor for everyone is really nice vs melee champions. Stunning a carry so that ours can initiate and instantly make it a 4v5 then staying behind the main tank and healing whoever needs it the most ever 3 seconds due to nashors.

This is just how i play him though, I play him more Tank, you play him more Support. Nice job either way :)

these items are great to stay in lane and to give your team the boost they need to win and that is why i choose Taric...

@jmillz

Taric is not a killer or a real OP tank or healer but he is the boost your team needs to win and will make any nuker unstopable cuz of its great heal and stun he is a laner's best friend
