I love playing as Xerath, and this guide seems pretty good. However, do you think Deathfire grasp is needed in this build? The active ability is nice and comes in handy, but as Xerath you're going to be fightin from a distance most of the time due to Locus of Power. Would you perhaps consider going for a Void Staff instead for the magic penetration, or perhaps if you're looking for a cooldown reduction going for Morello's Evil Tome? You could also consider Lich Bane for it's nice passive if you want to get more up in their faces. |

I always prefer Deathfire grasp because Kage's Lucky Pick give me some extra money and in the early game i always need some money because Xeraths W+Q dont always kill one whole minion lane. I like it too beuase the 15% CDR are very usefull for xeraths ulti. Morellos tome is not my favorite item becuase it have a lame active spell but nice 20% cdr |

The DFG is much better on shorter range champs; the only time I run a DFG on Xerath is when there are several tanks or serious gap closers on the opposing team. On Xerath, I generally play pure glass cannon, meaning I get a Deathcap ASAP, then I follow it up with another Deathcap if it's a short game or AAs forever if it's a long game. |

I would suggest getting rid of the spotlights. The guide is great but you start it with a bunch of pointless ****. Besides that and some english problems its good. Remember to +Rep me if you think I deserve it.

 Deathfire Grasp is highly unnecessary since this is a snipe hero... You won't get close enough to deathfire anyone... Well if you are noob enough to play close range, then you will, but still... Fix that and i may change my vote...
