Not Updated For Current Season
The masteries shown here are not yet updated for the current season, the guide author needs to set up the new masteries. As such, they will be different than the masteries you see in-game.
Let me start by saying that THIS IS NOT A CHAMPION BUILD GUIDE! So if you are trying to learn the best ways too construct a champ, this is not it. What this happens to be is a tactical team composition guide, so ignore the input of required masteries, forget about the items and skills, and focus on the champions themselves; because if played right, this team build will completely OWN other arranged teams, and there is nothing they can do about it but cry.
So lets take it from the top, yes literally, the TOP lane.
-Here you have Amumu and Gangplank laning together, and yes, i did put the team pictures in order of their position, that wasnt a coincidence..... Now more to the point with Amumu and Gangplank, first of all, and make note, this is your defensive lane, these two arent going to be laying waste to towers and pushing their lane. Amumu is a tough magic DPS and has his stun, and Gangplank is a hard hitting ranged. They should be able to hold up against any duo in their lane, and of course playing defensively almost eliminates the chance of getting ganked. Thus enableing the pair to lvl and get ready for team fights.
Now on to the Middle lane.
-Here of course is Kennen, he is one of the best aggressive mids in the game, if he doesnt have 1 or 2 kills by lvl 6 or so.... well then hes just not doing it right. He is also an excellent gank or either lane, fast and efficient. Thats about all for Kennen solo, this is a team guide after all.
-Here is NuNu and Pantheon, great duo as NuNu tanking and his AP and slowing attacks make Pantheon's work of killing everyone just that much easier. Pantheon is dangerous on a bad day, with NuNu's slows on top of his own stun, he should be beating the opposition into an unconscious submission. This is the lane which will take out the first tower, unless kennen beats them to it. And with the end of the first tower we take the next step into our official team fight strategy.
Team Fight: Suppression
-I hope you've caught on at this point that all of the champion's ultimates are AoE, the beautiful full circle AoE, and a mix of both AP and AD damage. Starting the first team fight is the best moment. Amumu and Nunu with Kennen can push any lane, just to attract serious attention, Pantheon will be pushing the opposite lane with Gangplank, or alone really, and Gangplank can be anywhere useful. So now the other team thinks that we are over extending, and that they have a sweet 5 on 3 fight. But of course when they engage Amumu, Nunu, and Kennen, it all goes down. Now as perfectly as the team can time it, Amumu uses his ulti followed by Nunu, then Pantheon Skydives, Gangplank fires his ulti, and the other team just got devestated by Amumu and Nunu's AP ulti, and Pantheon and Gangplank's AD ulti. And finally Kennen jumps in at the end with his ultimate and cleans up anyone who is trying to run away. Then push towers and fall back when they respawn, and force them into another 5 man team fight, and I mean 5 of them, because of course this team only needs 3 in one place.
This is a well balanced team that compliments each other's abilities and strengths, and 2 minutes between instigating team fights isnt much of a delay, especially in late game when everyone is dead for a minute anyways. This team preforms extremely well against all arranged team types, and early game ganking,(virtually this teams only weakness) can be avoided almost completely just by being cautious and team communication. So I hope you enjoyed my tactical team guide and that it has given you some ideas, thanks for reading!
